Subject Title Entrepreneurship

Subject Description This course deals with the concepts, underlying principles, processes and
implementation of a business plan. The preliminaries of this course include
the following: 1) discussion on the relevance of the course; 2) explanation of
key concepts of common competencies; 3) explanation of core competencies
relative to the course; and 4) exploration of career opportunities.

Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts, underlying principles, and
core competencies in Entrepreneurship.

A. Before the Lesson
1. The teacher asks student to lead the opening prayer followed by the checking of students’ attendance
through the use of class card.
Before the class commence, the teacher makes sure that the learning environment is conducive for
learning. All things must be in their proper order.
2. Review of the past lesson: Recitation
The teacher will ask students to show understanding of the past lesson. The lesson underscores the
importance of entrepreneurship in daily life. What is entrepreneurship and why is it relevant to their
lives? Do the successful entrepreneurs inspire them to be one of them someday?
3. Motivation.
Motivate the students to imagine that they have their own business, that they are the one managing it
and how will they know if their business is earning.
3. Activity. Peer Sharing
Each student will choose a pair and discuss the following questions:
Based on activity yesterday wherein the teacher shows the picture of successful entrepreneurs, what do
you think are the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur?
B. During the Lesson

The teacher will ask for volunteers to present in front of the class and the students will present their
insights regarding their activity.

An aptitude is a natural ability to do a particular type of work or activity well.
An attitude is a way of viewing or thinking about something that affects how you feel about it.
Entrepreneurs tend to be people with positive attitudes.
