Duties and Responsibilities


» Ensure effective client management processes are followed (e.g. regular
meetings, project updates)
» Conduct regular team reviews to identify upcoming client needs and
requirements
» Setting up project meetings and running meetings
» Act as the primary point of contact for the client taking a medium term view of
client requirements
» Provide leadership on project management processes and procedures to the
team
» Line-manage/mentor a group of project leaders and build a strong delivery
team.
» Identify training needs of project leaders and provide development plan
» Take overall responsibility for the Project target of the business team
» Work with project leaders and financial controller to ensure accurate project
tracking of costs and where necessary escalate to management team/client
» Work with editorial director to build the delivery team for projects
» Lead/provide input to proposals and pitches
» Provide direction on product development
» Undertake own project work
» Creating a plan, executing a plan and adjusting the plan as necessary
» Status reports and presenting to upper management
» Taking into the consideration the deadlines, budget, personnel and their
