“Beneath the Mexican Stars” - Upcoming Album Cover for Michael Hoppe
RECENT WORK CATALOGUE
November 2019
This year, I made a visit to Austin and San Antonio, where I am now
represented by a small gallery. We will mostly be selling open edition
prints and limited edition hand embellished prints on canvas, but my
visit did inspire four paintings, which will be included in this cata-
logue.
I also visited Toronto and Hamilton this year. In Hamilton, one of my
designs was printed on an electrical box placed right across the Ham-
ilton City Hall. It was fun to see my design on the evening news!
Following my visit to Canada, I headed to Paris France, where I revis-
ited all of my favorite museums and visited two museums that were
new to me - La Orangerie and Musee Monet.
Last but not least, I made a brief visit to Kiev, Ukraine, where I saw my
grandparents and made a pilgrimage to many sacred sites, including
monasteries that were over 1000 years old.
November 2019 Update

Hoppe’s upcoming music album, titled “Beneath the Mexican Stars.” I

During the last two years, my family has taken priority over my work. Finally we have done some fixing up on our home in Oaxaca and now
The good thing is that I paint because I really want to paint, not be- have a casita and two rooms available to visitors. The casita is aready
