Revit Introduction

Revit is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software that allows architecture, engineering, and construction professionals to collaborate on model-based building designs. It integrates structured data across a project's lifecycle in a single interface to help teams achieve better outcomes. BIM is a holistic process of creating and managing information for a built asset using an intelligent model and cloud platform. In Revit, elements are organized hierarchically by category, family, and type to represent the 3D geometry and framework of a building model.

REVIT

Revit is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software offering a multi-

disciplinary and collaborative approach to design and construction projects. It
empowers architecture, engineering, and construction professionals to
produce consistent, coordinated, and complete model-based designs for
buildings and infrastructure. With the unification of powerful tools including
architecture, MEP , and structural engineering into a single interface, it helps
project team to achieve better outcomes together.
According to Autodesk
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the
Building holistic process of creating and managing
information for a built asset. Based on an
Information intelligent model and enabled by a cloud platform,
BIM integrates structured, multi-disciplinary data
Modeling to produce a digital representation of an asset
across its lifecycle, from planning and design to
construction and operations.
