You will need to complete the following components to describe the program you would like to be recognized.
Title School-based In-Service Training (INSET) on Continuing Professional Development and Preparation
of Instructional Materials
Rationale In-Service Training (INSET) is a modality for professional development intervention to address and resolves
areas of need identified by the teachers or school leaders to continuously improved their competencies. In
consonance with Dep Ed Order No.22, s. 2023 known as the Implementing Guidelines on the School
Calendar and Activities for the school year 2023-2024, there shall be an annual five-day mid-year break
that shall be spent for the conduct of the Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation and the School-
Based In-Service Training (INSET) of teachers . The 3 days may be devoted for the conduct of School-based
In-Service Training (INSET) Activities for the teachers’ continued professional development and preparation
of their Instructional Materials (IMs).
Program/Course School-based In-Service Training is a type of training which is organized at the school level by the teachers
Description in a particular school. School-based INSET is organized to solve some special needs or deficiencies
identified by the teachers themselves or by the school heads. This training helps improve and increase
teachers’ knowledge and skills of the content of academic subjects in order to become more qualified,
enables teachers to acquire new teaching methods and materials, trains teachers in school and class
management, helps teachers develop needed skills in this time and encourages team work among teachers.
Terminal Objective:
The purpose of this training is to address the Professional Development Priorities of Teachers.

experiences

3. to equip teachers with knowledge and skills for effective reading instruction
4. to provide teachers with knowledge and skills in accommodating Learners with Special Education

7. To understand the coverage of RA 11313 to ensure equality, security, and safety for every learner
