Process
4) Team Identity: the extent to which team members identity with the team rather
than with their functional role.
= able to recognizing inclividuals' specific skills and abilities, as well as creating a
climate of respect and inclusion, leaders and members can foster positive team
identity and improvecl team outcomes
5) Team Cohesion: when a team remains united while working to achieve a
common goal.
= a situation in which members are emotionally attached to one another and
motivated toward the team because of their attachment and was useful tool to
predict team outcomes
6) Mental Models: is an explanation of someone's thought process about how
something works in the real world.
=organized mental representations of the key elements within a team's
environment that team members share
7) Conflict Levels: disagreement that affect an individual or group of individuals.
= are intrapersonal (within an individual), interpersonal (between individuals),
intragroup (within a group), intergroup (between groups), and intraorganizational
(within organizations).
