1 How do I register a device/ appoint a software integrator?
1) Please visit the URA web portal https://ura.go.ug, click on “e-Invoicing”
Menu and Login to your EFRIS account.
2) Select Device Management>> Device Application and click on the “+Add”
button.

4) Under Section B, click on the +Add button to select location (Headquarter
or branch).
5) Select the device type (Virtual Device or Offline mode enabler). For offline
mode enabler, capture the device number properly without leaving spaces
at the start or end.
6) Select the type of integration from the drop down (Self or Accredited
software integrator). For Accredited software integrator, select software
provider, software name, software version, period from and period to.

7) Click submit, you will be asked to confirm the application details.

3 How do I register a thumbprint?
1) Please visit the URA web portal https://ura.go.ug , click on “e-Invoicing”
and Login to your EFRIS account.
2) Select Device Management>> Thumbprint Configure List and click on the
+Add button.

4) Capture thumbprint characters properly without spaces or colons at the
start, end or between the characters. The Thumbprint is obtained from
your public key obtained from self-signed certificate OR a Certificate
Authority Signed

5) Fill the Efris Submission form shared by URA with the right details as
obtained, scan and save the Submission form in a pdf format(.pdf)
6) Select digital certificate form (pdf format) and click upload and attach the
filled digital certificate from your computer and submit the application to
URA for approval.

You will be notified once the application is approved or rejected.

5 How do I deactivate/remove an appointed client from my account as
an integrator?
1) Please visit the URA web portal https://ura.go.ug , click on “e-Invoicing”
menu and Login to your EFRIS account.
2) Select Device Management>> Deactivate client.
3) Click on the “+Add” button to select the client you would wish to deactivate.
4) Upload supporting documents if any and submit the application. The client
will be notified to approve the deactivation.
5) Upon approval of the request for deactivation, the client will be removed
from the integrator’s account.
NOTE: The procedures are the same for both test and live Efris environments
