II. Situation Analysis:

Provide a brief overview of the current literacy situation in your region/division, including notable strengths, challenges, and any previous or ongoing initiatives.

Students in grade 7 typically experience a wide range of abilities and development in their reading skills. Some students may be operating at their frustration
level, struggling with complex texts and experiencing frustration and a lack of motivation. Others may be comfortably reading at their independent level, enjoying a
variety of materials and continuing to build on their skills.

Therefore, teachers should use assessment tools to determine each student's instructional level, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs. Interventions and
differentiated instruction should be implemented to support students operating below their instructional level, helping those progress and bridge gaps in their reading
abilities.

Ongoing monitoring and adjustments are essential to ensure that students are continually challenged and supported at appropriate levels throughout the academic
year.
