Job Title: Computer Forensic Analyst Intern

Location: Bihar & Jharkhand & Remote

Company: Gluon Technology Private Limited

Job Overview:

We seek a skilled Computer Forensic Analyst to join our team. As a Computer Forensic
Analyst, you will be responsible for aiding in computer forensics, analytical case support,
and electronic media analysis. Analytical support will include computer forensic case
analysis and field response for data acquisition.

Core Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of Operating Systems, and network technologies.


2. Knowledge of data carving tools and techniques (e.g., Foremost).
3. Knowledge of concepts and practices of processing digital forensic data.
4. Knowledge of SOP for digital forensic investigation.
5. Skill in using any forensic tool suites (e.g., EnCase, Sleuthkit, FTK).
6. Skill in analyzing anomalous code as malicious or benign.
7. Skill in analyzing volatile data.
8. Skill in interpreting results of debugger to ascertain tactics, techniques, and
procedures.
9. Skill in analyzing memory dumps to extract information.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide investigative support by organizing and analyzing computerized


information in computerized crime investigations.
2. Conduct field previews of computers and other digital medium.
3. Use computer forensic analytical tools to prepare reports, document evidence, and
search submitted computer(s) / digital devices(s) for files that may be relevant to a
criminal case or criminal charges.
4. Restore corrupted and deleted files when possible and relevant.
5. Conduct analysis of log files, evidence, and other information to determine best
methods for identifying the perpetrator(s) of a network intrusion.
6. Provide technical summary of findings in accordance with established reporting
procedures.
7. Examine recovered data for information of relevance to the issue at hand.
8. Perform file system forensic analysis.
9. Collect and analyze intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, and system
configuration) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber
defense incidents within the enterprise.
Qualifications:

1. Completed or pursuing bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Science &


Engineering, Computer application or MCA.

2. Working experience in any of the digital forensics tools.

3. Experience in various versions of Operating Systems like Windows, Linux, MacOS,


Android, IOS etc.
