Communication -
Came from the word “communicare” which means “to
share”; to share information or ideas.
Communication happens between a speaker and a
listener.
Elements of communication
1. Sender - is the speaker of the message

2. Encoding - is the process wherein the


speaker formulates the message in his mind
on how it is constructed and the emotion it
will have.
3. Channel - is the means used by the
speaker in communicating.

4. Message – is the actual information being
conveyed through the channel.

5. Receiver - is the person receiving the


information
6. Decoding - is understanding the
information received and making meaning
out of it.
