With this textual definition of management, I will say that as a human resource manager in a
company, let’s say, Dangote Foods and Beverages (not completely existent), I can say that the
only way I can properly do my job as a manager, is to make sure that I provide a healthy and
well understandable work environment for the well-being of employees in the company.
It is my job to make sure that they do their assigned jobs properly. For example, the financial
department employees, are to keep the executive heads up to date with the financial state of
the company, so that they will be able to make the necessary decisions based off of where the
company is at and where they would like to be headed in the foreseeable future.
This way, I help get the organizational affairs running through the efforts of these workers that I
guide and manage properly.

employees do their assigned jobs properly, as mentioned in your submission? How do you get
things done as a manager through other people's efforts by providing a healthy and
understandable work environment? I can barely understand the point you are trying to make.

I recognize that my explanation was a bit vague so let me be specific.

The way I can ensure that my employees do their assigned jobs properly will be by employing
the POLC strategy, which stands for Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling.
Planning; I can carefully inspect different approaches that works best for my type of company, a
food processing company, while I make plans
Organizing; At the end of planning and deriving an implementable solution, I will make
rosters/schedules that detail the time certain staff of the departments, engage in the activity.
This can be known today as Job shifts.
Leading; I will be sure to implement those solutions myself and lead by example by making use
of the resources available in the organization.
Controlling; I will ensure that each employee keeps to their time and maximizes every second
they have properly. Also, I will be sure to discipline faulty employees

This helps to build a healthy mindset in the workplace because implementing things like these
job shifts will ensure that each employee is able to properly manage their time in the
organization while they handle other things that are important to them. Also, it will ensure that
there is a smooth workflow in the organization.
