MS EXCEL – INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT
30 MARKS (25%)

Exquisite Bakery Enterprise is an SME business operated as a small booth selling kek lapis
Sarawak located at Level 2, Kuching International Airport. The spreadsheet below shows the data
for some of the bestselling kek lapis variants produced by Exquisite Bakery Enterprise. Exquisite
Bakery Enterprise wants to run a sales analysis starting from January to June 2022, and apart from
that, they also want to identify the level of sales for each bestselling kek lapis whether it is in a bad,
average, good, or outstanding level. As a hired freelance data specialist, you will help Exquisite
Bakery Enterprise to obtain the result required using Microsoft Excel.

1. Start Excel then create a new workbook. Then, save the workbook as EXCEL
INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT YOUR NAME GROUP.

2. Enter the data as per above figure.


(5 marks)

3. Change the formatting of the numbers to Currency (RM) and two decimal points.
(2 marks)

4. Merge and Center the main title. Bold the main title, change the font size to 18 and font
type to Calibri.
(1.5 marks)

5. Merge and Center the secondary title. Bold the secondary title, change the font size to 14
and font type to Calibri.
(1.5 marks)

6. Find the Total Sales for:


• Each product
(3.5 marks)
• Each month
(3 marks)

7. Apply Format as Table and use any medium style.


(1.5 mark)

8. Apply Total Cell Style for Total Sales (Month).


(1 mark)

9. Based on the Total Sales for each month, perform the following operations using formula
function:
• the highest total sales
(1 mark)
• the lowest total sales
(1 mark)
• the average total sales
(1 mark)

10. Apply Output Cell Style for Highest, Lowest, and Average Sales.
(1 mark)

11. Using data from the Total Sales of every product, determine the Sales Indicator by using
the VLOOKUP function. Use Sales Indicator as stated below:
(7 marks)

Sales less than 5500 (BAD)


Sales from 5501 to 6000 (AVERAGE)
Sales from 6001 to 6500 (GOOD)
Sales more than 6500 (OUTSTANDING)
