I. The employment relationship is the legal link between employers and employees. It exists when
a person performs work or services under certain conditions in return for remuneration. It is
through the employment relationship, however defined, that reciprocal rights and obligations are
created between the employee and the employer. It has been, and continues to be, the main vehicle
through which workers gain access to the rights and benefits associated with employment in the
areas of labour law and social security. The existence of an employment relationship is the
condition that determines the application of the labour and social security law provisions
addressed to employees. It is the key point of reference for determining the nature and extent of
employers' rights and obligations towards their workers.

II. Nature of Employment Relationship - Employee relation indicates the relation between
employer and employees in a workplace and the relation can be both formal and informal.
Basically the relationship builds up among co-workers, among any one in an organization, among
employees and their superiors and among the members of management (Boxall, and Purcell,
2011). All segments of human resource management which handles employees directly or
indirectly are involved with employee relation. Additional, Employee relation helps to build up
good understanding and sense of collaboration among employees, employer and the parties of an
organization. Good relation of employee and boss helps to build a positive atmosphere in
workplace. It helps to prevent different type of conflicts among all in the organization and a
valued strength.

III. Test of Employment - are assessments that organisations administer to determine if you're a
suitable fit for your desired position. It's often a requirement to receive the test before you're
invited to the interview or after you've advanced through the hiring process. Some tests may
require you to practise the technical skills you included on your resume, to validate your
qualifications for the role. Others may enable you to indicate your personality traits, helping the
employer discern if you can perform well in the company's culture. The results of the test can
contribute to the hiring decision.

IV. Relevance of Identifying Employment- RelationshipThe existence of an employment

relationship is the condition that determines the application of the labour and social security law
provisions addressed to employees. It is the key point of reference for determining the nature and
extent of employers' rights and obligations towards their workers. Employee relations are
important because they form the foundation of trust between an organization and its employees.
When workers feel respected by their supervisors for their contributions to the organization's
success, they tend to reciprocate this respect with hard work and loyalty towards the company.

V. The NLRC- The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), a quasi-judicial agency attached
to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), is mandated to adjudicate labor and
management disputes involving both local and overseas workers through compulsory arbitration
and alternative modes of dispute resolution.
