Unit 1 Tahsili
Unit 1 Tahsili
Biology: Science that deals with the origin of life and its
history, and the structure of the living organisms, and how they
do there job, how they communicate with each other, anatomy,
physiology and behavior
Growth: it is an increase in size, & /or number of cells of a
living organism
Living organism:
A living thing that has an organized structure, can react to stimuli,
reproduce, grow, adapt and maintain homeostasis.
Cell: cell is the fundamental unit of life ( basic ), and that all living things are
composed of one or more cells
Tissues: A group of cells working together to perform a specific function
Organ: a group of tissues working together to perform a specific function
Organ system: A group of organs working together to perform one or
more functions.
