Text 1: Read the text below and answer the following questions.

Steve Jobs was an American inventor. He established Apple Inc. and invented the iPhone and
the iPad. He was born in San Francisco, California in 1955. As a child, he enjoyed working on
electronics with his father. They liked to break radios and televisions into pieces and put them back
together.
Steve was a clever student. He liked electronics, computers and
technical things. His friends were also interested in engineering and
electronics like him. When he was 13, he became friends with Steve
Wozniak. Wozniak was very good at electronics.
In the early 1970s, Jobs made video games for a computer
company called Atari. He was still friends with Steve Wozniak. In 1976,
Wozniak invented a personal computer and showed Jobs this
computer. Jobs said that he wanted to set up a company together and make and sell computers.
They founded their company and called it Apple Computers. They began making computers in Job’s
garage when Jobs was just 21. They invented the Apple I and Apple II computers together. The Apple
II was a very successful product and when Jobs was 23, he was a millionaire.
Unfortunately, Steve Jobs developed cancer. He tried to treat cancer with alternative
medicine for a long time, but he died of cancer in 2011 at the age of 56.
