Jake hits his head while running and loses his memory. He is unable to remember daily routines or attend college. His mother takes him to the doctor, who determines Jake's memory loss was caused by reduced blood flow to the hippocampus due to the head injury. The doctor advises that listening to music may help restore Jake's memories, as music has been shown to increase blood flow to the brain. Jake listens to music intensely at home and finds it starts triggering his memories to return. He later returns to the doctor, who confirms the blood flow has increased and Jake's memory is recovering.

Jake stays in the house for multiple days he sits the just on his own he doesn’t turn on
the tv he sits there with nothing. He adds to the mess on the ground and talks to
himself about the running track he repeats himself like a broken record. His routine
changes to the point where he would wake up and then talk to himself to then just go

take a seat right there please. So what is the problem.

JAKE
I hit my head pretty hard last night and from then on I can’t remember
much it’s all just a bluer I can’t pin point anything ether. I don’t know
what’s appended to me (starts crying)
I hit my head last night and now I can’t remember anything please help
me.

DR

Ok I believe I understand the problem can I look at your head please

(inspects his head)
Ok you have had a large hit to the side of your hair I believe this has
caused some blood flow blockages and this is causing your memory
loss

JAKE

So are you saying I can’t remember my memory’s ever????!!!!!

DR
All I’m saying is if we can’t restore blood flow to your hippocampus. You
could lose your memory’s forever I’m very sorry.

JAKE

How can I do that how do I get more blood to my brain.

DR
There has been study’s that listening to music can help you start remembering.

Jake makes his way from the Dr’s and decides to walk back home with his air pods in
and just presses play he still doesn’t recognise the music it almost sounds like a new
song to him. Jake looks disappointed.

INT.- house - living room.

Jake walking in turs on the speaker and the lies down on the furniture the then closes
his eyes and just focuses in the music tears run down his face as he starts to remember
the music he turs the music to the max volume
Jake then puts on another song and another and another he starts to remember the
music.

He then starts to lessen to music as much as possible the schedule returns to normal.

He then goes back to the Drs for another check up

The Drs says the blood frow has increased and helped gain you memory’s back slowly.
