SPECIAL DRIVE NOTICE
FOR SC/ST/OBC-A /OBC-B APPLICANTS ONLY
FOR ADMISSION TO MA/MSc and M.Com COURSES
PART-A (CU) & PART–B (NON-CU)
As directed by the appropriate authority, it is notified for all concerned that a few seats in
SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B categories in different courses in the University Departments and/or
Colleges affiliated to the University are still lying vacant. Applicants of such categories, willing to
take admission in a course under CU Departments or in any of the respective CU affiliated
colleges, are hereby instructed to report in person to the Office of the Secretary, UCAC of
the respective campuses (Asutosh Siksha Prangan (College Street Campus) and Kshudiram
Siksha Prangan (Alipore Campus) or contact to the CU affiliated college of one’s choice with the
following requirements for submission of the prescribed applications for
1. PG Admission under this special drive is strictly subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria
and selection criteria.
2. Applicants who could not take admission due to any or more of the reasons mentioned below
are informed to contact as mentioned above.
• Applicants who could not submit their claims for correction after publication of Draft
Merit List and / or Provisional Merit List.
• Applicants who were selected for admission according to the Provisional Selection
Lists but could not upload the required documents for verification.
• Applicants who were selected for admission according to the Provisional Selection
Lists but could not submit their admission fees.
• Applicants who were selected for admission according to the Provisional Selection
Lists but missed the admission schedule for any reasons.
The date of reporting in person: November 04 - 16, 2023 (including Saturdays & Sundays)
between 12.00 noon to 03.00 p.m.
Applicants must bring with them the following for submission at the office:
1. Prescribed application duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
2. Copy of the updated application form.
3. Copy of the SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate (as applicable) and domicile
certificate, if necessary.
4. All semesters / years mark-sheets.
N.B.:
• Eligibility Criteria and Selection Criteria will remain unchanged.
