Summary

"I'm sorry," He whispered before closing his eyes that were getting heavier. His
heartbeat getting slower and slower before finally stopped.

A few seconds before it stop, Cale was able to hear the voice of the God of
Death.

•Descendant of Thames, you must do well next time. The child who feared by
death.

After that, Cale finally drowned in his own darkness.

Where Cale Henituse died in his process of sealing the God of Despair but he went back in
the past.

For the first time, Cale regretted with what he had done. Laying on the ground with no energy to
move is what he can do now.

Blood keep pouring out of his mouth and showed no sign of stopping at all.

He looked at the person who laying beside him. It was Choi Han. He was covered in blood and his
eyes were tightly closed. Not only Choi Han but also Raon, On, Hong, Lock, Rosalyn, Mary,
Eruhaben, Ron, Beacrox, Alberu and also most of the Cale's precious people were laying around
him lifelessly.

Cale tried to look at his surroundings. He can't see the beautiful Puzzle City anymore. The only
sight in front of him were only collapsed buildings, smoke and fire everywhere.

This is all because of his mistake.

He tried to seal the sealed god using his embrace power but ended doing a deadly mistake. He
didn't expect that he will fall into the sealed god's scheme.

He ended up only sealing up the sealed god's power and brought it outside the temple. His
clumsiness makes everyone around him die.

The seal exploded.

".... Raon"

Cale tried to reach Raon that only a meter away from him. However, he can't. His energy is already
drained because of his restraint of staying alive.

He started to feel cold.

The Vitality of Heart itself cannot heal him anymore. His injured was too critical. He can't even
feel his lower body.

Besides, he didn't want to be healed either, even if his Vitality of Heart is still working. He had no
one anymore. All of his family already left this world before him. He didn't want to be left alone.
That's what Cale feared the most.

And his fear had happened before his eyes.

".... Raon.."

Cale cried out his beloved black dragon's name that he gave the black dragon himself.

"... Raon.. forgive me... Guys... Please forgive me..."

Cale apologized using all the energy that he had left. Tears started to drip out of his reddish-brown
eyes, went through his cheeks and finally dropped on the cold ground.

"Because of me.... All of you.... Die."

 Cough

Blood continued to pour out of his mouth but he didn't care about it as he using all his energy
crawled to reach for Raon.

He gripped the ground until his fingers bleed and his nails ripped out then pulled his body towards
Raon. Each movement makes Cale feel colder and colder. He knew that he will soon follow his
family but he want at least to be by Raon's side.

"...R..aon."

Cale pulled Raon into his embrace also On and Hong that were near Raon. He hugged the children
tightly without the intention of letting them go.

"I'm sorry," He whispered before closing his eyes that were getting heavier. His heartbeat getting
slower and slower before finally stopped.

A few seconds before it stop, Cale was able to hear the voice of the God of Death.

Cale slowly opened his eyes and saw nothing but darkness. Pure darkness with no light in it. Not
even a little.

It made Cale laugh.

"I'm dead? Haha... Of course, I'm dead."

Cale tried to stand up but weirdly he felt no ground below him, not even when he was laying down.
His back felt empty. It was like, he was floating in the universe with no star in it.

"Am I stuck here forever?"

Cale's voice echoed as he spoke out, just like he was standing in the middle of the hall without
anyone near him.

Also, he don't feel anything at all. Pain, dizziness, sleepiness, hotness, coldness and anything that
possible to feel, emotions, he can't feel any of those things.

He felt empty? No... He does mourn his beloved death but he can't any longer feel the pain. He felt
sad but no tears had been shed. Just.... Nothing?

Looking at the pure darkness makes him feel empty but not really empty just an indescribable
feeling.

Cale sighed before tightly closing his eyes. At that moment, sleepiness suddenly overwhelmed
Cale makes him lose consciousness instantly.

Swooossshhh

Cale flinched as soon as he feels winds pass through him gave the coldness all over his body. Not
only that, but he was also able to hear the sound of leaves fluttered as the wind blows it softly.

As Cale can remember, he is dead. He went to the afterlife that had no wind, tree, or anything
living in it. It was only pure darkness. But now, the wind and the sound of leaves make Cale feel
alive.

Isn't this kinda cruel? To give the dead the feeling to be alive?

Is the dead like him even capable to feel?

Cale sighed. He still had no desire to open his eyes. Even if he opened it up, all he can see is pure
darkness, the same as closing eyes.

So why bother to open it up?

However, something showed up that makes Cale have no choice but to open his eyes.

It was the ancient power, super rock's voice.

–Cale? Oh god, Cale, you are still alive! Thank god!

It made Cale petrified. The first thing that he saw was the man-eating tree that already turned
white. That means someone already took the ancient power in it.

It was none other than him.

It was hard to believe that he was still alive. He remembered exactly how he was unable to feel his
lower body and how blood keep pouring out of his mouth. He also remembered the pain that he felt
caused by the explosion of his embrace power.

He remembered seeing his family die in front of his eyes. So how can he still be alive now?!

"What had happen?!"

Cale looked at the outfit that he was wearing, it was the same as the day when he got the
indestructible shield.

–Cale, you suddenly look younger.

The ancient power earth, super rock spoke to him.

That moment, Cale realized that–

"I'm back in the past?"

He brushed his hair and he found out that it was still short. Cale's eyes began to shake. It was hard
to believe that he really went back in the past.

"I– what?... What?!"

Cale stepped backwards then accidentally fell on the ground. His voice sounded panic as he spoke.
It made the ancient powers worry.

-Calm down, Cale. I know you are panicking but I think this is better than you just died.

Cale inhaled deeply before exhaling softly. He started to calm down.

He slowly stood up again then touched his heart.

He can felt it.

Inside his body, he still able to feel all the ancient power roaming around his heart which means he
didn't lose any single of them, including the Annual ring of life and blood-drenched rock. He was
able to feel everyone.

However, there was something odd with the ancient power of wood. It seems like it getting
stronger.

–Just now you were taking the glutton power, that's why she's a little bit strong right now.

–Yes, I ate the other me and it's delicious!

Cale raised his brows when he heard both the super rock and the glutton had said. That means he
was able to gain the ancient power that he already had to power up the ancient power that was
already inside him.

"You mean that there is still another you in this world even though I already had you?"

–Yes, the glutton just proves it earlier. She ate the other her and get stronger.

Cale nodded his head then immediately stepped out of the man-eating tree territory and the slums.
But he soon stopped when he was there are two kittens, red and silver were slowly approaching
him while meowing.

It was On and Hong.

Cale felt like his heart had been ripped out when he remembered the sight of them lying on the
ground lifelessly. The tightness and pressure in his heart were getting hard to handle.

Cale closed his eyes before slowly opening it again. He crouched down then patted both the kittens
gently while trying his best to control his tears from dripping out.

Cale smiled. However, his smile look so sad and even the kittens noticed it.

"Follow me, I'll take care of you."

He didn't know either On and Hong remembered everything or not, but that isn't important. The
important thing is he able to hold his children again.

On and Hong both looked at each other before wagging their tails excitedly then jumped into
Cale's arm that he already opened up.

Seeing it made Cale's expression soften. With a light step, Cale walked back to the estate.

Cale tried his best not to show his emotions to Choi Han and Ron who was sitting in front of him.
Right now, they were in the third floor of The Fragrance of Tea with Poetry. He was clenching his
hands hard under the table while his face showed stoic, no, almost emotionless expression.

However, his guiltiness almost overpowered himself. Thank goodness, the ancient power, super
rock helped him calm himself.

–Cale, remember it was an accident. No one expects that to happen. No one blamed you. However,
if you really regret it, then fix it, no need to mourn for it.

Cale slowly closed his eyes before opening it again.

Clack.

Ron placed his teacup back on the table quite loud.

Cale started to feel paranoid, no matter how long Cale was with Ron, the feeling of scared towards
him didn't even lessen. His eyes went to Choi Han, who was frowning.

“Why don’t you enjoy your tea a little more quietly?”

'It is the same.'

No one seemed to remember anything. Not even a single person remember. Only his ancient power
had the memories of the previous timeline. It was because they were bonded with Cale by soul,
that was why they were able to remember everything.

"Sweats teas are the best," Cale said with a smile on his face.

Cale stared outside the window while sitting on his rocking chair. He also has some grapes near
him as his snack. Slack around was Cale's favourite thing to do.

–Instead of slacking like this, how about you go to my villa and gain my power there? I want to get
stronger too.

"Tomorrow. Too lazy today."

Cale plucked the grape then puts it in his mouth. He may look like resting peacefully, but the truth
is his mind was filled with bazillion thoughts.

First, he need to go through all the hardships of fighting against White Star again. Just thinking
about it made Cale exhausted. At least he already knew every detail about him. That will make
everything easier.

Second, he need to build the trust of his people again. That's the hardest thing to do since if he
made a single mistake some of them may not end up with him.

Third, what if White Star remembers? This will double the hardships. Not only that, but he also
may try to find all the ancient power that Cale possessed so that there will be no one that stands in
his way.

There are many more that Cale worried about but he emphasized the important ones first, that can
change the future directly.

–How about visiting your mother's grave? It's the easiest and the nearest ancient power to gain.

Cale stopped his rocking chair.

Annual rings of life is the ancient power that his mother sacrificed her life to divide it into two and
placed it in two different places. This is all because to protect the people that she loved.

Taking out ancient power from someone's plate will cause the plate to break and if someone's plate
broke, that someone will die. That's the law of nature.

However, for Cale who broke the law of nature multiple times, he can place his ancient power into
different places without risking his plate. It's because he had the ability of embrace that he got from
his team leader, Lee Soo Hyuk.

"Let's do that."

Cale stood up from his rocking chair. He took his jacket then immediately went to his father's
study.
Why?

Even though Cale can go to his mother's grave stealthily, he still wants to inform his father about it
since he planned to dig his mother's diary. Because he knew if he stealthily took the diary, his
father will freak out about it if it suddenly disappeared.

As soon as Cale arrived in front of his father's study, Cale knocked the door.

"Father, it's me, Cale."

"Come in, Cale."

Cale reached out the doorknob then twisted it. When he saw the door showed a little gap, he
pushed it then saw his father, Deruth Henituse. He was looking at Cale with a faint smile on his
face. He seems happy after seeing his son.

Cale slowly stepped inside the study.

"What is it, Cale?"

Cale opened his mouth then closed it again without saying any words.

Deruth saw the hesitation in Cale. It makes him frown. Usually, Cale didn't even hesitate to say
what he wanted because he knew that his father was capable of preparing it for him. Seeing Cale
doubting like this makes Deruth thinks that Cale might be asking about impossible things.

"Cale."

".....Yes, father."

Cale didn't even look at him when he answered his call, his eyes were on the floor. At that moment,
Cale looks big yet so small in Deruth's eyes. Cale looks big because he is a grown-up man but he
looks small because he seems like he is about to get further away from him.
He getting further and further away from Deruth until it was beyond his reach.

Thinking about it makes Deruth's heart beat faster. The thought of Cale not in his embrace horrified
him. However, he soon put the thought aside.

"Just say it, Cale."

Cale finally lifted his head to look at his father. Once their eyes meet, Cale smiled.

"I planned to visit mother's grave today."

Deruth flinched and subconsciously stood up from his seat. This is the first time in ten years Cale
asked to visit his mother. It gives Deruth a very bad feeling.

"Why?"

Deruth knows it's a stupid question to ask but he can't help but to curious.

"Nothing, I just feel like I need to pay a visit. Also, can I take mother's diary?"

Deruth's eyes started to shake. He remembered that he and his son had planted the diary near the
grave, but his son never even told him that he wanted the diary for these 15 years.
So why so sudden? It gave Deruth an ominous feeling.

"Can I, father?"

Deruth exhaled before approaching his son then patted his shoulder.

"I didn't know why you suddenly want your mother's diary and I'll not ask anything. Yes, son, you
can. However, once you have the diary, please take good care of it, okay?"

'Take a good care of the book, huh?'

As he remembered, he destroyed this book in his fight against White Star for him to find the
Annual rings of Life's White Star. Cale smiled awkwardly.

Well, his father no need to know about it anyway.

"Yes, father I will."

After getting his father's permission, Cale immediately went out of his father's study to go to his
mother's grave. Knowing that there is no one around him, Cale used his ancient power, the sound
of the wind. With a light body, Cale walked to his destination.

When he already arrived in front of Jour Thames' grave, he took out a trowel from his spatial beg
then start to dig a hole behind the gravestone.

It was easy to dig same as in his previous timeline.

Tap!

The trowel hit something hard at that moment and Cale started to dig with his hands.

A small metal box appeared.

Cale smiled then immediately took out the box from the dirt then wiped the top of it with his
handkerchief. When Cale find saw the magic circle on it, he took out a dagger then stabbed his
hand. Some drops of blood fell onto the magic circle.

The box opened without any issues after a small vibration. Cale wiped his hand again with another
handkerchief since he didn't want the diary to be dirty. His hand also already healed thanks to the
Vitality of Heart.

When Cale already have the diary in his hand, he closed his eyes. Cale able to feel there's an
energy flowing out of his heart then go to the diary. When he opened his eyes again, the diary was
glowing and after a few seconds, the diary suddenly opened on its own. The pages keep flipping
until it reached the middle of the diary.

It was a blank page in the first place but soon it had been filled with some words. It was the
younger self of Jour Thames.

–Nice to see you again, Cutie!

"Yes, nice to see you again too.... Mother."

The book starts to vibrate before some words are shown on the blank pages.

–Hihihi
She was laughing.

–Good Luck

Cale knows what Jour Thames means by 'Good Luck'. It was the test to gain the ancient power of
wood, Annual Rings of Life.

The ground started to shake then a large red tree grows from the grave causes it to split into two.
The red tree was glowing beautifully causes Cale to stop breathing for a moment.

"It's so beautiful."

At that moment, the tree leaves suddenly looks like they were hugging before lifting him to the air.

Then a voice of a woman who seemed to be in her late teens had been heard inside Cale's mind.

– Hmm? Who might you be? Wait— You already have my power with you... Errmmm Interesting!

Cale just chuckled then patted the diary that was in his hand.

"Yes, I am. My name is Cale Henituse."

Teen Jour Thames giggled as the red leaves dance around Cale.

– I like you! So I'll give you my power! Also, you have a very cute face! You should consider that
you are lucky!

The tree started to shake making more glowing red leaves dance around Cale.

Zingggg

The red leaves into a powder then started to gather around the diary. Each second the diary became
brighter and brighter until Cale had to close his eyes so that he will not go blind.

After a few minutes, Cale tried to open his eyes and saw the diary was no longer glowing. The
diary flipped on its own again.

–Now, I am a little bit stronger! Thank you!

Cale smiled after reading the words that were written on the page before closing it. He then hugged
the diary in his arm. He needs to secure it very well or else it will fall into the hand of the wrong
person such as White Star.

He used the sound of wind to get down of the tree and immediately walked back to the estate.
However before he could reach his room, he meet Choi Han.

"Cale-nim?"

His face has frowned as he looked at Cale but his frown face soon disappeared and was replaced by
a shocked expression. His eyes widened as soon as he looked at the diary in Cale's arm.

His pupils also began to shake.

"... Ca.. Cale-nim... That diary is... Your mo...ther.. You are not... Supposed to have.. it now..."

Tak!
The diary fell down from Cale's arm.

He was shocked. He was shocked because Choi Han seemed to have his memories in the previous
timeline.

"You... Remember?"

Cale looked at the trembling Choi Han who was looking down and not even looked at him. Cale
tried to control his overload emotions by biting his lower lips. Cale then glanced at the diary on the
floor. He already promised his father to take care of this diary, how can he let it lay on the floor.

When he was about to pick up the diary, Choi Han already picked it up first.

"Choi– Ahh!"

Choi Han suddenly grabbed Cale's small wrist then pulled him into an empty room near them.
Even though there so many eyes were watching but Choi Han seems to not care about it at all.

Seeing Choi Han's dark expression really scared Cale.

'Is he going to kill me because I cause him to die in the previous timeline?'

Cale just gulped as he followed Choi Han that was dragging him.

Bang!

The door had been slammed close. It proved that Choi Han was extremely angry. Cale hurriedly
finds good words to apologize.

"Choi Han, I–"

However, Cale didn't have the chance to finish his words, Choi Han immediately hugged him
which caused both of them to fall on the floor.

"Ca... Cale-nim...uuhhh"

Choi Han was crying with his face was buried on Cale's shoulder. Choi Han's grip of Cale's body
was too tight as he didn't want to let him go.

Cale cannot hold his emotions any longer. Tears started to drip out of his reddish-brown eyes.

"I'm sorry... Because of me, all of you... died."

"No! What the hell are you talking about, Cale-nim?!"

Choi Han lifted his head from Cale's shoulder to look at his eyes. However, he subconsciously
raised his voice that makes Cale flinch. Choi Han was shocked when he saw Cale terrified
expression. Cale looks scared as he looked at him.

Choi realized his mistake then hugged Cale again.

"You are the only one that died at that time, Cale-nim. Everyone was alive."

"What do you mean, Choi Han? I saw all of you were laying on the ground lifelessly!"

Choi Han shook his head then tightened his embrace.

"No, Cale-nim. We were all still alive at that time. Do you know how terrified the children were
especially Raon when they found out that you were already gone while holding them? They were
crying, Cale-nim. You made the children cry."

Cale bit his lips then slowly patted Choi Han's trembling back. He also put his forehead against
Choi Han's shoulder. After a few minutes, Choi Han finally calm himself, at that moment Cale
slowly pushed Choi Han's shoulder so that he can look at his face.

"..Goshh"

Choi Han's face was incredibly messy. His nose was runny while his eyes were both red and
swelled. His face also turned puffy.

Cale smiled, a sad smile before slowly wiping Choi Han's tears with his thumb.

"Tell me everything."

Choi Han nodded his head before slowly standing up from the floor. He also helped Cale to stand
up. They then sits down on the couch that was in that room.

"Choi Han... Tell me."

Choi Han nodded his head again then sniffed. Cale then handed his handkerchief to Choi Han.
After wiping his snot, Choi Han took a deep breath before slowly exhaling.

"Cale-nim, after you... go...gone... The temple was also gone. However, our war isn't over. After
you defeat White Star, the hunters suddenly made an appearance. They tried to take over the
continent. That's why the war lasts for 40 years."

"Wait 40 years?!"

Choi Han nodded his head.

"But we lose."

Cale frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"Cale-nim, after you gone everyone lost their hope. Raon also almost went crazy, thankfully
Eruhaben-nim was able to calm him down. However, in the end, we lost our family one by one."

Cale closed his eyes. His heart was squeezed in pain. Knowing that his family suffer makes his
heart aches.

"Ron was the first one that left. He died due to his old age but not the others. Rosalyn and the
kittens died at our first time fighting against the hunters. The hunters were strong. It's because they
can cross to another dimension so they weapon are more modern than here. Also, the last standing
was me, his highness and Raon."

Choi Han tried to reach for Cale's hand. Cale that noticed it immediately grabbed Choi Han's hand.
He even squeezed it to tell Choi Han that he is there with him.

"We were in despair, Cale-nim. I even almost fall into the God of Despair's scheme. Thankfully my
aura always reminds me of you and our family."
 Hearing the story from Choi Han makes Cale's guiltiness increase. However, Choi Han's next
words calm him down.

"It's not your fault, Cale-nim, no one blames you."

Cale slowly nodded his head and was looking at the hand that was holding his. But he soon
immediately looked at Choi Han.

"But how did we able to turn back the time? Did you make a deal or something?"

"No, we didn't. Actually, I don't have any idea either. I remembered that I was in the middle of a
forest and was running away from the hunters before I suddenly collapsed. And when I woke up I
was already in Harris Village. At first, I thought I was in a dream but since the dream feels so real,
I just do what I did in the past. Until I met you, I realized that the time is back again."

Choi Han sighed before continued to speak.

"Judging by your actions at first, I thought that you didn't remember anything since everything you
said was the same as the past even though I already mentioned a little bit about the past. That's
why I thought that I'm the only one that remembers."

"It's because I just got my memories yesterday."

"I see..."

"......"

There is a gap of silence in their conversation before Choi Han started to speak again.

"Cale-nim."

"Yes?"

"Promise me that we will fight against everything together, please..."

Cale smiled before nodding his head. He knew that the previous timeline leave a huge trauma to
Choi Han.

"Yes, I promise."

Choi Han looked at Cale who was chilling on his rocking chair while eating grapes with the kittens
laying on his lap. He looks so relaxed. However, Choi Han knows the truth. Cale might seem like
he was relaxing but the truth is he was thinking and planning about the future event.

"This evening, I plan to go to the super rock villa to gain the ancient power there."

Right now Cale only had one goal which is to gain all his ancient power before the plaza terror.
With this, he didn't have to worry about White Star finding it first. If he can, he also wants White
Star's earth ancient power, disguise thus he doesn't have to worry about his important people being
taken away from him, just like how white star kidnapped his father.

"I need to collect all my ancient powers before the plaza terror so that I don't have to worry about
White Star finding it first."

Choi Han nodded his head.

"You going to bring me together with you, right, Cale-nim?"

Cale stopped his rocking chair then he looked at Choi Han who had his eyes darkened as he stared
at Cale too. It makes Cale shiver and without thinking twice nodded his head.

"Of course, Choi Han. You have to stay by my side always."

Choi Han's darkened face instantly turned bright with a wide smile.

Cale frowned.

It's scary how Choi Han can change his expression almost immediately.

"Meooow.."

"Meoooowww"

Both the kittens looked at Choi Han then Cale before snuggling close to Cale. They saw how scary
Choi Han expression was thus they seek protection on Cale.

Cale smiled when he noticed that the kittens are afraid of Choi Han then patted their heads. It's
clear that they still didn't have any memories of the previous timeline.

"I wonder if they will get their memories back," Choi Han said as he looked at the scared kittens in
Cale's embrace.

"Maybe in the future, who knows right?"

Choi Han nodded his head. He then stood up and helped Cale fill his empty teacup. Ron is the one
who usually prepared Cale's tea however he seems to have other things to arrange.

"Say Cale-nim, how are you going to the super rock villa? We don't Raon with us?"

"I'll use my wind ancient power."

"You still have your previous ancient power? If you do then why do you want to collect it again?"

"So that my ancient power will get stronger."

"I see."

Choi Han who was beside Cale started to approach the door. He seems like he is about to go out of
the room. It makes Cale confused.

'Isn't he the one who wanted to follow me wherever I go? So why did he leave when I said I'll to
the super rock villa?'

Cale frowned.

"Where do you want to go?"

"I'll go first to the super rock villa. I need to clear the path for you."

Click!

The sound of the door had been closed had been heard. Choi Han left Cale dumbfounded. He didn't

inside his spatial bag, Cale stealthy flew away from the estate. He already told the kittens to keep
quiet about it.

When he was already near the Harris Village, Cale took the invisible device inside his spatial bag
then wore it. He became invisible instantly.

Cale looked around the Harris Village, his father knights and soldiers were roaming around and
were investigating the area. Cale started to wonder how Choi Han was able to pass these knights
stealthily without getting caught.

Cale just shrugged and activated the sound of the wind then climbed the wall that separates the
Forest of Darkness and Harris Village. As soon as he landed on the ground, Choi Han suddenly
appeared and greeted him.

"You are here, Cale-nim. I already cleaned up all the monsters that were in your way, so it is safe
now."

Cale looked at Choi Han who was smiling brightly. If only he has a tail, it must be wagging right
now.

'Is he wants to be praised?'

Cale smiled faintly as he slowly lifted his hand then patted Choi Han's head.

"Good job."

Cale sighed when he saw how bright Choi Han's face become. No matter how long he had lived,
he never lost the light in his eyes. And he hopes it will never will.

Choi Han nodded his head then lead Cale the way. Just like what Choi Han had said, he does clean
the path. Not even a single poisonous plant was in the way, everything just melt. Even the monster
corpses were melted.

Seeing the terrible sight in front of Cale makes him shiver in fear. Thankfully Choi Han didn't see
him since he was leading the way. However, knowing that Choi Han easily clean up the path that
may take a day or two, Cale knew that Choi Han was getting stronger.

Choi Han stepped on the side and let Cale approach the huge boulder that was the entrance of the

Cale ignored the other super rock voice. He then looked at Choi Han who was standing at the side

Choi Han scanned Cale's expression first to make sure he was fine before nodding his head.

"Be careful."

Cale walked towards the dark entrance of the boulder. Just like what he had experienced in the
previous timeline, the earth was showing Cale the way. It was just like a unique language that Cale
oddly understand. The darkness didn't even bother Cale as he keep walking.

Unlike the previous timeline, this time the super rock didn't tell his story to Cale. He was quiet. But
it didn't bother Cale, he knows why the voice is quiet, it's because he already had the other him
inside his plate.

Cale soon see a light, that is why he began to walk faster and after a few steps, he finally saw a
wide area with orbs on the ceiling lighting up the entire area also a villa.

The Super Rock Villa.

Without being told, Cale immediately entered the villa since he is already familiar with it. He went
to the fifth floor and entered the only room on that floor.

Cale could see a marble altar at the centre of the room. It was about as tall as Cale’s waist.

"I know," Cale responded to the voice as he walked towards the stone and took it and eat it without

– Thank you, Cale. Now, I feel a little bit stronger. However, had you noticed it?

Cale who was slowly walking away from the altar and now on the way to go back to Choi Han
raised his brows.

–Your plate is getting tougher. It is no longer a glass plate, no still glass but just getting thicker.

After a few minutes, Cale finally out of the super rock villa and immediately went to Choi Han
who was waiting for him patiently at the entrance.

Choi Han nodded his head and activated his aura then created a pair of wings at his back while
Cale activated his ancient power.

Cale widened his eyes as soon as he saw Choi Han's black wings.

Cale smiled. As expected, there were so many happening in those 40 years in the previous
timeline. Cale wonders if Choi Han will tell him one by one.

you."

Cale took the documents the tossed it on the table. Hans just raised his brows as he watched his

All memories of the previous timeline are still clear inside Cale's mind. The happy one, the

was not supposed to mention that he went to the slums even though he knew it.

It makes Cale anxious. What if his father remembers the past too? But if he does, he might act

His family noticed how Cale's expression changed instantly as soon as his father mentioned about
he went to the slums.

asking. It's because he worried about Cale.

It makes Cale sigh. He then patted Choi Han's shoulder twice.

Cale looked at Ron and Beacrox who were shielding him from Choi Han. They were glaring
sharply at him. Cale then made eye contact with Hans, his face was as pale as a blank paper. He
must be traumatised by Choi Han's strength. To be honest, even Cale himself was scared of Choi
Han. His dark eyes as he slaughtered most of the bandits with his black aura was terrifying.

only them but also all the eyes that were focused on Cale and Choi Han. They just met each other
for maybe a week but their relationship seems to be deeper. They seem like had known each other
for more than a year.

It makes Ron feel suspicious. Just days before, Cale acted like he wanted to stay away from Choi
Han but now he acted as he owns that punk. The more suspicious is that black-haired punk. He
didn't mind acting like a dog in front of their young master but behind he showed his fangs. He

was the cave where Raon had been imprisoned.

looked at him.

When the deep blue eyes meet the reddish-brown one, the blue eyes began to sparkle and finally

Raon nodded his head.

"I heard from Choi Han that you are supposed to be 40 years old, so I can't treat you like a child
anymore, right?"

Raon flinched. His head then immediately turned towards Cale so that his blue eyes can meet the
reddish-brown one.
"No! Hell no! Human, I'm still 4 years old! Human, I am still a child! This great and mighty Raon
Miru is still 4 years old. You will treat me as your child, right? I am still a child in your eyes,
right?"

Cale suddenly feels like something is stabbing his heart. It was so painful, more painful than when
he stabbed himself with the world tree root. Cale nodded his head.

"Of course, even if you are 1000 years old, I'll still treat you like what I used to."

"Promise me, this time you won't leave us alone again! Weak human, promise me!"

Cale smiled as he nodded his head.

Cale opened his eyes in the middle of the night. Just like how he opened his eyes for the first time
after he died, everything he saw was black. However, this time he saw two lights are roaming
around him.

One is a black light and the other is blue light. It's was circling Cale, just like he was the sun and
the lights were planets.

Cale watched the lights dancing around him. For some reason, with the lights' existence, he didn't
feel lonely even though he was trapped in the darkness that had no end.

He closed his eyes, hoping that he could see Raon at the moment he opened his eyes again.

Cale only stared outside the carriage window while the children were playing around. Raon was
showing his magic skill to his nonna and hyung.

"Human, are you going to the cave again?"

Cale looked at Raon who was jumping to his lap. Cale nodded his head.

Raon was asking either Cale will go to the cave to claim the Vitality of Heart or not.

"Yes, of course, so that I'll get stronger."

"You will bring me with you, right?"

"Of course, Raon."

Cale like how wide Raon's smile is when he looked at him. It was so sweet and precious. Cale
gently rubbed Raon's head.

"Human, why do you think we went back to the past?"

Raon's question somehow makes Cale uneasy however he just shook his head since he didn't know
either.

"Hye human, do you think the crown prince remember too?"

When Cale is about to answer Raon's question, Raon instantly interrupted him.

Raon's words make Cale shocked. However, even before Cale was able to stop him, a light
suddenly appeared around Raon.

However, not even a minute, a light suddenly appeared again in front of Cale. It makes Cale panic.
He worried that even if Alberu didn't remember everything, Raon still bringing him here.

As expected, Raon did really brings Alberu here. Thus, Cale immediately closed all the windows
with its curtain to forbid anyone from seeing what happened inside the carriage.

"Dongseng."

Cale flinched.

'So he remembered too?'

However, Cale did not immediately look at Alberu even though he knew that he remembered
everything. It's because of guilt. His body that laying lifelessly on the ground was still clear inside
Cale's mind.

"Dongseng... Why don't you look at me? Don't you know that I'm dying to see you again?"

Cale pursed his lips together and his fists clenched tight. Without looking at Alberu, Cale tried to
find Raon and the kittens but they were nowhere inside the carriage. It was just him and Alberu.

"Where are the children?" Cale asked with his eyes still looking at the floor. Tried to change the
subject.

"Raon brings them to my room to eat the cookies there."

"I see..."

There is an awkward silence between the two of them. No matter how hard Cale tried to look at
Alberu, his eyes just can't.

First, the memories still hunting him. Second, he is scared that Alberu will be mad at him because
he died leaving him to handle another war that is far more worst than White Star.

Alberu must be really tired now.

Even after 5 minutes, Cale still didn't dare to speak. He then could hear Alberu was sighing. He
flinched.

"Cale, look at me, please. I know I'm unable to protect you in the past and caused you to die alone.
You can blame me, of course, but please don't hate me."

Alberu's words make Cale's eyes immediately went towards him. It was widely opened and were
shaking.

"What the hell are you talking about hyu–"

Cale's reddish-brown eyes become wider as soon as it meet Alberu's. Alberu's eyes were teary and
his cheeks were also wet.

He was crying.

Alberu suddenly pulled Cale into his embrace making Cale kneels on the floor and his face was
placed on Alberu's chest.

Alberu's grip on his shoulders is also tight. His whole body was shaking. His heart also beating so
fast and loud. Cale could hear it since his ear was against Alberu's chest.

Knowing that Alberu didn't mad at him and was also missing him makes Cale smile. He hugged
Alberu back.

"Cale."

"Yes?"

"We'll fight together this time, right?"

Even though it's embarrassing, Cale somehow likes the way Alberu was hugging him. Thus, he
snuggled into Alberu's embrace to find a comfortable position. When he already found it, he
nodded his head.

"Yes, I already promised to Choi Han and Raon anyway."

"Good."

Alberu wiped his tears then softly patted Cale's head. Cale's warm hands at his back were so
calming. Alberu put his face on Cale's head. Cale's scent entered his nose. It makes Alberu frown.

'Is Cale already smells like this?'

Cale smells like sunlight however, it's very faint sunlight. He smells like earth, like a forest after
rain but to the forest that is on a verge of dying. The forest that didn't been watered for a year.

When Alberu was taking Cale's scent to his nose, it gave him an emotional shift as it is a herald of
the waning daylight.

Cale smelled like autumn.

"Hyung-nim," Cale called for Alberu making him snap from his thoughts.

"Yes?"

"I need a golden plaque."

"I don't have money now."

Alberu knows Cale was lying. Count Henituse is one of the richest nobles in the Roan Kingdom.
There is no way the eldest child of Henituse didn't have any money. He is sure that if Cale asks for
it, his father will give him almost immediately.

At that moment, a light appeared then Choi Han and Raon had been seen after the light faded. Cale
looked at Choi Han who was looking at Alberu. He was frowning and so does Alberu.

After a few seconds, they looked away from each other then looked at Cale. It makes Cale flinch.

seconds and his smile could be seen again.

"Just make sure to always bring Raon with you."

"Of course, I will. Besides, I know Raon will never leave me alone," Cale said as he patted Raon's
head.

Raon who was already on Cale's lap lifted his head to look at Cale then continue to snuggle close
to him with a big smile on his face.

Cale also smiled.

However, Cale suddenly frowned when he feel his surrounding was unusual.

He could feel the heavy tension around him. He then looked at the kittens, they were curling their
bodies at the corner of the seat while looking at him, Alberu then Choi Han.

It was unusual tension for Cale.

-Both of them keep glancing at you, Cale. They seem like wanted to devour you, hehe.

'What the fuck?!'

The thief's voice that was talking inside his head sends chills all over his body. Cale rubbed the
back of his neck as he looked at Choi Han then Alberu. Both of them were smiling when he looked
at him.

'What does the thief mean by wanting to devour me? Did I look tasty in their eyes?'

Cale slowly shifted his eyes to look at Choi Han and Alberu but immediately look away when they
were making eye contact.

'Their gaze looks do scary.'

Cale shook his head.

'The thief must be joking.'

However, Cale's thoughts soon snapped when Choi Han's right hand was suddenly wrapped around
his waist.

Cale immediately looked at Choi Han with his rounded eyes. Cale was dumbstruck by his actions.

Choi Han was smiling innocently.

His hands were gripping both Alberu's shoulders tightly. Not only that but he also was sitting on

Cale's body suddenly jerked. Alberu was pressing his face against Cale's chest while his hand was
tightly hugging his waist.

When Cale is about to ask Choi Han for help, he suddenly feels there was a hand wrapping around
his chest and a chin rested on his shoulder.

Cale blinked. He blinked again and again. He confusedly asked himself what had happened now.

How can he end up in this kind of situation?

Just now he was sitting beside Choi Han then Alberu suddenly pulled him then BOOM!

Cale now was between Choi Han and Alberu and both of them were hugging him.

hugged his waist tightly and Alberu pulled Cale to him so that he can hug him.

It makes Cale sigh. He didn't know what these both men thinking of that even make them
comfortably hug him. In the previous timeline, they're not as bold as now.

Cale's voice snapped both Alberu and Choi Han making them flinched. They immediately let Cale
go. Cale also already stood up from Alberu's lap.

Both Choi Han and Alberu faked a cough as they looked away from Cale. Alberu was rubbing his
nape while Choi Han was tapping his scabbard. Both of them didn't dare to look at Cale.

It makes Cale's confusion increase.

'What's their intention of hugging me?'

However, Choi Han's and Alberu's next words answered everything.

"I'm so sorry, Cale-nim. I just missed you so much that I still doubt whether this is a dream or not."

Alberu nodded his head agreed with Choi Han.

"Yes, Cale. I still think that I was hallucinating."

Cale raised his brows after hearing their reasons, after that he smiled.

He understands the feeling of missing someone, it was so painful. It kinda hurt Cale when thinking
that he left them for 40 years. If they were the ones who left him and meet him again after 40
years, he'll also hug them tightly.

"I see," Cale said as he sits back on his seat.

He then looked outside the window by moving a little bit of the curtain. He flinched when he saw
Ron's benign smile was greeted him. He instantly closed the curtain again.

"Young master Cale, I think we need to set a camp here since the day is getting darker."

Ron's voice outside makes the trio panic. Raon was not with them to send back Choi Han and
Alberu who were not supposed to be in the same carriage as Cale.

Cale immediately took out two invisible devices inside his spatial pocket then gave it to Choi Han
and Alberu. After they wore it and turned invisible, Cale opened the door.

He looked around the place, pretending that he was observing the area.

"Well, it's a good place by the way, so set a camp."

"Yes, young master Cale."

Ron took a peek inside the carriage before walking away from Cale to arrange the camp. Cale
knew that Ron realized Choi Han and Alberu's presence inside his carriage. There is no way an

Cale now laying on the bed with the kittens and Raon. He just arrived in the puzzle city and now

he can't just ignore the children's wishes.

Moreover, he needs to make sure that Taylor and Cage are still the same. He needs to make sure he

"Waaaa," Cale yawned. He then put the royal seal back in his spatial pocket and gave it to Raon.

Cale then recalled the day when Alberu gave the seal to him.

Cale brings the kittens also the invisible Raon in his arm before following Hans walking out of the
room. He then walked towards the carriage while Hans went to get Choi Han.

–Human, when are we going to the cave?

"Later," Cale answered Raon's question as he walked into the carriage.

They finally headed to the rock tower as soon as Choi Han and Hans entered the carriage.

subconsciously smiled while looking at them then immediately looked away when Hans started to
whisper to him.

As expected, Hans will inform him about them. Still, Cale just said what he had said in the
previous timeline.

“…How do you know about that person?”

Hans smiled before pointing to his eyes.

“Pretty much any and all information about the nobles is in my head. I could see a man being

see that there was a red snake crest on the wheelchair.”

Cale raised his brows when he heard that Choi Han's voice become normal again and then giggled.
He was scared of Choi Han for nothing. He sighed in relief.

"Raon, can you clean me up? I don't want to get scolded by Ron and Hans," Cale called for Raon
who was near him.

"Of course, weak human! I am a mighty and clean dragon."

Raon then spread his mana around Cale. In only a second, all the dust and dirt on Cale's outfit

"Where do you want to go after this?"

Cale looked at Raon that was flying around him as he walked back to the entrance of the mountain.

"Tonight, we will go to the Ubarr territory to get the wind ancient power. But this time, I'll not use
the magic bomb since that might change the future."

"So how are you going to get the ancient power there?"

"With my shield. Also, I already have the sound of the wind itself so it's will be easy for me to

Hearing it makes Cale sigh. He reached for Raon that was in the air then patted his head.

As soon as Choi Han disappeared from his sight, Cale walked into the inn and went to his room.
He puts the kittens down then immediately took out all the items that he already prepared for him
to get his ancient power, dominating aura then puts it into his spatial pocket.

He took a black robe then wears it to cover his body.

"I have things to do, can you guys take care of my room when I'm gone?" Cale asked the kittens as
he patted their head.

"I'll buy anything you want if you do so," he added.

"Really?" Both the kittens' golden eyes gleamed.

"Yes, really."

On and Hong meowed happily as their wagged their tails.

"Sure, nya! You better promise!"

"Promise nya! Promise!"

Cale nodded his head again as he smiled at the kittens.

As soon as Cale made his promise to the kittens, Roan immediately set a teleportation circle that
was coordinated to the forest of darkness.

In only a blink, Cale already saw the black swamp in front of him. As expected, Raon's skill was
impressive. Even though the time already turned back, his skill did not affect by it at all.

Cale started to look around to make sure in that forest there are only he and Raon.

"There's no one around but that footstep over there looked new."

Raon pointed with his little paw the footprints near the swamp as he spoke.

"Arm must already go here to take some dead mana for the mermaid. Looks like we need to hurry
but let me take some of the dead mana first. It's for Alberu."

Raon nodded his head then shot his mana at the center of the swamp when Cale already finished

Cale smirked when he finally saw the white bone begin to appear on the surface of the swamp.

could be seen.

record power, he didn't need a map to walk around the forest.

"Put the bones in there."

Cale pointed inside the cave then Raon immediately placed the dragon bone inside. As soon as the
bone safely landed on the ground, Cale uses his wind ancient power to clean it up and make sure
not even a single drop of dead mana was left on it.

Without waiting any moment, Cale immediately touched the crown and began to feel a strong aura
was entering his body.

Cale's heart began to beat wildly. He clenched his chest then subconsciously activated the

forest was finally in peace again. He looked at Raon who was beside him. He could see that Raon
was tearing up. Cale was shocked then immediately hugged Raon.

"Why? What happens?"

Raon cried as his front paws clenched Cale's shirt.

"Human, why are you so scary! I almost didn't recognize you earlier!"

Cale raised his brows.

Looks like he could hide his presence by activating the dominating aura to its maximum. However,
it seems to be a bad idea since his whereabouts will easily be detected because he was the only one
who had this power.

Cale patted Raon's head slowly to calm him down. Raon sniffed then snuggled into Cale's embrace.

Right after Raon calms down, they immediately teleport back to Cale's room in the inn in Puzzle

He didn't even forget to pat the young black dragon's head.

"Nope," the kittens shook their head.

"Good. Now, let's go to the town, the sky still at its bluest."

The kittens happily wag their tails as they jumped into Cale's arm. Raon already turned invisible as
he followed Cale walked out of the room.

However, before he even stepped out of the inn, Beacrox suddenly greeted him.

"Where are you going, young master Cale?"

Cale turned to look at Beacrox who was standing still near him. His brows furrowed when he get
close to Cale.

"You smells like mud– Young master Cale are you stealthily sneak out earlier?"

'Fuck, he's sharp.'

Cale started to feel anxious. His head was also messy tried to find a good excuse to use on Beacrox.
However, Cale knew that Beacrox is not a fool so he just give up and nodded his head.

Cale could hear that Beacrox was sighing.

you're a beggar or something."

Cale's brows twitched at Beacrox's statement. That was a bold thing to say to the nobleman's son,

Cale nodded his head then walked out of the inn with Beacrox following behind him.

When they already arrived in the main town of the Puzzle City, On started to speak.

"I want that thing that will make a sound when wind blows it up."

Cale raised his brows as he looked at On then Hong who was wagging their tails excitedly. He had
no idea what the kittens want. His eyes shifted towards Beacrox then saw he shrugged. He also had
no idea about it.

"We want to hang it on the window nya! So that whenever there's wind, it will make a good
sound!"

Cale's mouth turned 'O' then he nodded his head.

The kids were asking for a wind chime.

"I see, let's go find it."

"Yeah!"

Cale deliberately uses his wind ancient power to create some wind so that the wind chimes will
create a sound and makes it easier for them to find.
Then, Cale could hear Raon's voice inside his head.

- Human, are you using your ancient power? If you want to create wind, let this mighty Raon Miru

Cale shook his head. They were now in a busy town that had lots of different people were walking

Cale immediately walked towards the sound while holding the kittens in his arms. Beacrox also
doesn't complain much as he followed Cale from behind.

When Cale already arrived in front of a small white store, he deactivated his ancient power and the
sound slowly stopped.

"Look! Up there! That the thing that we want!"

Hong looked so excited as he pointed to the wind chime that was hanging in front of the store door.

"Okay, let's go buy it," Cale said as he walked towards the store.

As soon as Cale pushed the door open, the bell door ringing and an old man immediately come
greeted them.

"Welcome, young man, is there anything that catches your eyes?"

Since Beacrox was with them, Cale ignored the old man and let Beacrox do all the talking.

He started to look around. There are lots of wind chimes that had different shapes and colours
inside the store. However, there's only one wind chime that catches Cale's attention. It was the one
with a wind sail shaped like a pocket clock and lots of mini stars and moons hanging.

The tubes that were hung below the mini stars and moons softly moved and created a soft sound.

Looking at it makes Cale's heart beat wildly. Cold sweat started to drip out of his skin. It was the
feeling of every time Cale encounters and tried to gain an ancient power.

Cale subconsciously gulped.

He then puts On and Hong on the ground since he was scared that he might drop them down
because he feels like his arms started to get weak.

"Go find anything you like."

The kittens nodded their head then immediately walked around the store. They even play with the
bells a little.

Then Cale could hear Raon's voice inside his mind.

-Human, I also want one! Can I pick one?

Cale nodded his head and Raon immediately went towards the wind chimes that he likes. Invisibly
of course but Cale could see it since there are some of the wind chimes were moving.

Seeing that Beacrox still talking with the old man and the dragon and the kittens were a little with
the bells, Cale decided to get close to the wind chime that catches his attention.

If that thing really had an ancient power in it, Raon must already inform him but now, he says
nothing other than permission to find a wind chime for himself. The ancient powers inside Cale
also were quiet.

However, he suddenly feels a vibration inside his spatial pocket. When he take a look at it, he saw
that his mother diary was the one that vibrated. He took out the diary and the diary started to flip

death was.

Seeing it makes Cale clench his fist so hard to the point his nail was digging into his palm and
causing it to bleed but he didn't even budge. One by one his family is gone and Cale just able to
keep watch it, stare at it without being able to do anything.

–A while ago you act like you were about to lose your mind but now heartlessly watch the people

Cale slowly opened his eyes and found himself being in the darkness. However, unlike the first

"You little lights, why are you even here?" Cale said as he poked the blue light.

Cale could see that the blue light was vibrating before vigorously flying around him. The yellow
and black lights also do the same.

Cale sighed again before closing his eyes. Without him realizing it, he already fell asleep.

Cale laughed when he heard what Raon had said to him proudly. He slowly shook his head.

Beacrox frowned when he noticed the slightly blue on Cale's cheek. However, he ignored it when
Cale showed no sign of him getting hurt.

"You better get well soon, young master."

Beacrox handed Cale the gloves then went to arrange the table when Cale had already taken the
gloves from his hand.

As soon as Cale wears the gloves, a magic circle suddenly appeared on the gloves.

It was magic protection. Looks like Raon was also already inside the room and was invisible.

Cale smiled in relief when he knew there was magic protection already been cast on his gloves. He
didn't have to punch his face anymore if he started to get an unwanted vision.

Got punched on the face is hurt and Cale hate pain.

"Please have a meal, young master."

Cale nodded his head.

"Thank you."

As soon as Beacrox went out and closed the door, Cale stood up from his bed and went to the table.
The children and Raon who already turned visible followed him from behind.

"Are you okay, nya?" On asked as she jumped onto Cale's lap.

Cale nodded his head.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine."

"The doctor said that you were tired, that was why you fainted. You should not overwork yourself,
Cale."

"Okay, I will."

Cale can't help but listen to his eldest child.

On raised her voice when she spoke to Cale. Her hands also holding tight on Cale's arm. On was
now in her human form.

"You will faint again!"

Cale covered his face with his face unable to look at On that was scolding him. He really wanted to
rest but if he delay the time to pick the Sound of the Wind, someone will take it away for example
Toonka.

If the previous timeline, Toonka arrived at the Ubarr Territory early than what had been stated
inside the Birth of Hero, there's a possibility that this timeline he will arrive way more early. That's
why he cannot waste more time.

"I'm sorry, On but I cannot rest just yet. However, I'm promised after we arrive in the capital, I'll
rest."

Cale tried to pull his arm away from On but every time he does, On will tighten her grip.

"On... I promise I will not faint."

Cale held back his sigh. In the previous timeline, she isn't this clingy. Looks like she changed a bit
since Cale moved around quite fast this time. Cale patted On's head.

"I'll be fine, Raon will be with me."

Cale then looked at Raon who was preparing the teleportation circle before looking at On again
who was slowly letting his arm go.

"Don't faint again, okay?"

"Okay."

"Seal it with a pinky promise."

Cale smiled softly when he saw On was pointing out her pinky finger towards him. Without
hesitation, Cale did the same.

"Yes, let's seal it with a pinky promise."

As soon as Cale told the kittens to take care of his room, he hurriedly stepped into the teleportation
circle and in an instant, they finally arrived at the Cliffs of Wind in Ubarr Territory.

"Is Paseton around?"

Cale looked at Raon as he asked him a question.

Raon shook his head.

"No one around not even a mermaid."

"Good, now take this glass bottle and scoop some fire surpassing water inside the cave under the
cliff. You remember right?"

"How about you, Human?"

"I'll go into the whirlpool then take the ancient power there. You don't have to worry, it will be
easy since I already have the power itself."

Cale could see Raon's forehead frowned before he nodded his head. He then took the glass bottle
that was in Cale's hand then headed towards the cave.

"Be careful, Human."

Cale nodded his head to answer Raon then wears the magic item that allowed him to breathe
underwater before jumping towards the whirlpool. Since he already possessed the Sound of the
Wind, his movements inside the whirlpool were so smooth. Cale didn't even scare if the whirlpool
sucked him in.

Cale activated his shield so that it will help him sink faster. As soon as Cale arrived at the bottom
of the sea, Cale went towards the boulder that underneath it had a top that resembled Sun Wukong.

At that moment, Cale was able to hear the thief's voice, not the thief that was inside his soul but the
thief that he was about to gain.

-You Sons of Bitches!

Cale sighed. Just like always, the thief had a very potty mouth.

- Why it is wrong- Hey... You have my power with you.

Cale clicked his tongue then took out a hoe. He was too lazy to listen to the thief's story again, that
was why he ignored the thief and start digging to get rid of the obstacles that were holding both the
boulder and the top.

- Hey don't ignore me!- What the fuck? Not only my power that you had with you but my friends'
powers too! Who the fuck are you?
"Cale Henituse."

Cale shrugged as he mentioned his name. When Cale finally saw the entire top, he immediately
grabbed it. Since the thief wanted was freedom, Cale does what he did in the previous timeline.

He put the top down and destroyed it with his foot.

At that moment, a wind poured out of the broken top and started to surround Cale. Cale was able to
feel there's energy entering his body and went straight to his heart.

-I had become faster and stronger thanks to you!

Cale just nodded his head even though he didn't have to and immediately swam to the surface.
Since he already took the ancient power Sound of the Wind, the whirlpool that Cale just jumped
into was already gone.

However, Cale had no desire to make the Ubarr territory happy yet. That was why he flew up in the
air and summoned two whirlwinds on both of his hands.

He clasped the two whirlwinds together then threw it on the sea. Not even a minute, a new
whirlpool had been created. It was bigger than before.

Satisfied with his work, Cale went back towards the island and saw Raon was already waiting for
him with a teleportation circle near him.

"I already filled this bottle with the fire surpassing water. Here."

Cale took the bottle then put it in his spatial bag.

"Good job and now let's go home."

Raon nodded his head and together with Cale, they entered the teleportation circle.

Cale and his group finally headed to their next destination as soon as everything that Cale needed to
do had been done including sending the message to Talyor Stan.

Everything was the same as the previous timeline except the voice of ancient powers inside Cale's
mind and his hands that 24/7 covered with gloves.

Thankfully, the Annual Rings of Life power isn't as bad as the Memories of the Past. The living
things' rings of life only come out when Cale wants to see it. It is easier to control.

"We will camp here," the vice captain, Hilsman announced when he saw the day was getting
darker.

Cale nodded his head and shifted his eyes towards the road. Just after he did that, he then saw a
shabby carriage that was moving towards them.

He smirked.

'Finally, they came. Let's just follow everything like in the previous timeline,' Cale mentally made
a note inside his mind as he walked towards Hans.

As soon as Cale arrived in the capital while was helping Talyor and Cage, he hung the wind
chimes that he bought on the window. The kittens and Raon happily looked at it while was
listening to its sound every time the wind blows it slowly.

"How relaxing."

Cale slowly closed his eyes while enjoying the peaceful moment with his children.

"Yes, it is."

"So peaceful nya!"

"Really peaceful!"

However, that peaceful moment didn't last long, Cale then heard someone was knocking his door.
It didn't sound urgent unlike the last timeline where Lock was on the edge of using his berserk
transformation but still, Cale decided to open the door.

"Choi Han?"

Cale looked at Choi Han in disbelief when he saw how Lock and Rosalyn were calmly standing
beside him.

Isn't they supposed to be panicking right now since Lock will be transforming anytime soon?

But why Lock isn't in pain at all?

"Cale-nim."

Choi Han excitedly called for Cale before moving toward him then holding his hand. If he had a
tail right now, it sure was wagging.

Regardless of Choi Han's excitement, Cale's eyes were on Lock and Rosalyn that was awkwardly
looking at him then Choi Han.

"Cale-nim, I'm back."

Cale broke his gaze that was on Lock and Rosalyn to look at Choi Han. He was squishing Cale's
hand too tight until it was hurting him. Cale almost hissed by the pain but managed to hold back his
voice.

Seeing that Choi Han still smiled innocently, Cale knew that Choi Han didn't mean to hurt him.

'He must forget to control his strength.'

Cale just shook his head then patted the hand that was holding his slowly.

"Welcome back," Cale replied to Choi Han's greeting earlier before his eyes went towards Lock
and Rosalyn again.

".....Who?"

Cale pretended to not know the two people that were standing in front of him.

"Ahh! They are my friends. I meet them when I went to do the task that you gave me. They were
hurt so that's why I brought them with me."

Choi Han spoke as he was telling the truth, so smooth and didn't even shutter. Well, most of it was
the truth anyway but Cale was still impressed since Choi Han's acting skill was improving.

'With his acting skill is getting better, everything will be easier.'

Cale could not help but to smile faintly.

"Is that so..."

Cale then looked at Hans who was standing behind Lock and Rosalyn. He also looks as awkward
as the two people in front of him.

"Then Hans."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Go prepare rooms for them. Treat them as important guests since they are Choi Han's friends."

"Yes, young master but..."

"But?"

Cale frowned when seeing Hans' hesitation to continue speaking.

"Sir Lock had his siblings together with him. Most of them were also hurt."

"Sir Lock?"
Again, Cale pretended not to know who it was.

"...That's my name.. young master-nim and the person next to me is Rosalyn," Lock said as he
lifted his hand a little then looked at Rosalyn.

Cale's stoic expression softened when seeing that the shy Lock didn't even change.

Oh, only God of Death knows how hard Cale was holding back from patting the Wolf's head and
telling him that everything will be okay.

Of course, Cale's feeling was not noticeable, however for the people who had spent more time with

Choi Han just smiled softly as he looked at Cale's expression while Hans was frowning. The
passionate expression of his young master was really unfamiliar for him.

"I see, then treat them well too. We cannot leave the injured alone."

Lock's expression immediately brighten as soon as he heard what Cale had said.

"Thank you, young master-nim. You are really kind just what Choi Han had said."

Cale looked at Choi Han who still smiling innocently while holding his hand then shook his head a
little.

"You are my knights' friends, of course, I need to treat you well. Hans, bring them to their room.
They must be tired."

Hans who still had a frown on his face slowly nodded his head then lead Lock and Rosalyn to their
room.

Before turning their back completely towards Cale, Rosalyn had her eyes on Cale's hand that was in
Choi Han's.

She frowned.

For some reason, she had a bad feeling after seeing Choi Han and his liege interactions.

After the presence of the three people disappeared, Cale looked at Choi Han who still smiling
innocently towards him.

"I did it."

Without an order, Choi Han started to open his mouth to explain things to Cale.

"Did what?" Cale confusedly asked.

"I saved the Blue Wolf Village. Not all the adults died, only some of them. Also, the village isn't
completely destroyed. With some little repair, it already safe to live in."

Cale raised his brows. No wonder Choi Han is so happy.

"That's means when the Blue Wolf village is fully repaired, the Wolfs can live there so there is
only us in Harris Village. You and me."
'Huh?'

For some reason, the words that just come out from Choi Han's mouth don't sit right for Cale.

"Also, if we are able to find a new home for the Tiger tribe, they don't have to live in the Forest of
Darkness, then our time together will not be disturbed. Don't you think it a great idea, Cale-nim?"

Choi Han looked so excited as he told Cale about his plan made Cale a little bit guilty to deny it.
Hearing it really made Cale uncomfortable, nevertheless, he still nodded his head agreeing with
Choi Han.

Cale without knowing Choi Han's wide grin, replied to his question.

"It will be just us."

Cale subconsciously made a promise.

After hearing all the explanations about the Blue Wolf Village, Choi Han finally exited from Cale's
room leaving Cale and the kids only.

Cale found out that Lock went berserk after seeing his guardian die killed by the blood-crazy
mage, Redika.

Luckily, Choi Han managed to handle both Lock's berserk transformation and the secret
organization at the same time. Choi Han killed all the secret organizations including Redika and at
the same time protected Lock from harming himself also everyone near him while he was in his
first time using a berserk transformation.

'This will be a huge changed.'

Cale sighed.

Redika's death is something that never crossed Cale's mind.

Looks like this timeline will never be the same as the previous one. One of his people might not
end up with him. Thinking about it makes Cale's heart start to beat abnormal.

What if White Star remembered the previous timeline and this incident caused him to confirm that
he remembered too?

'Fuck!'

Cale mentally cursed since the children were with him.

If White Star remembered, Cale was sure he will send every army that he had to attack him after
this and if he don't White Star's next move will hard for him to predict.

Cale sighed.

He really wanted to scold Choi Han for changing the event but things already happened, he cannot
do anything about it.

"Human, are you okay? Things are going on differently this time, will it still be okay?"

Raon who was no longer invisible landed on the table near Cale then looked concernedly at him.

Cale nodded his head, however, the little frown on his forehead still did not disappear.

"It will be okay. We managed to went through all of these hardships on the previous timeline so
there's no way in this timeline we can't."

Cale calmy said those words while patting Raon's head even though his inside was like a jungle.

Before planning on his next step, he needed to clean up his messy head first.

"You killed Redika!"

Not even saying his greeting, a person who suddenly teleported inside Choi Han's bedroom yelled
at him who was laying on the bed leisurely.

"Are you crazy?! What if something suddenly went wrong?!"

Choi Han looked at the person emotionlessly then rolled his eyes without being bothered to lift his
body as the person in front of him is not an important person.

"He will hurt Cale."

"I know but what if White Star will send a stronger mage to replace Redika? Think about it, Choi
Han! What if he sends the half-blooded dragon?!"

Still, without looking at the person, Choi Han sighed.

"I am way more stronger than before."

"I know but a sudden change can awake Cale, Choi Han. Remember that."

"You don't have to remind me something so obvious...."

Choi Han slowly lifted his body then looked at the person who was standing near him. His eyes
darkened as soon as they made eye contact.

"....Alberu."

Alberu narrowed his dark eyes as he looked at Choi Han who just now calling him by his name.

"How disrespectful," Alberu emptily chuckled.

"We are not fully complete the dream. If you make a little mistake, things can go wrong. I didn't
want to through all the 400 years without Cale again, Choi Han."

Alberu sighed as he swiped his hair back after seeing Choi Han's uncaring expression.
"40 years.... Looks like your tongue can lie now. I would be happy if I only spent 40 years without
Cale but instead, it's 400 years. The difference was large, Choi Han."

Choi Han sighed as he stood up from his bed. He stretched his body then walk towards the desk
that was in his small room ignoring the scowl on Alberu's face.

"400 years were enough to perfect my acting," he said as he opened the drawer then took
something from inside.

When he already grabbed the thing, he throws it towards Alberu and Alberu easily caught it.

It was a small jar filled with red liquid.

"The last fragment?" Alberu asked.

"Yes, it's Dragon's blood. Before I went to pick up Lock and Rosalyn, I went to the eastern
continent to check on 'the dog'. I never thought that I will encounter another dragon that was not
fated to meet Cale...."

"So what did you do?"

"Of course, I killed it and took its heart."

"You ate the heart?"

Alberu frowned as he asked Choi Han that question. The image of a human eating dragon's heart
popped inside his mind.

Oh god, it was so disgusting.

"No, Are you crazy? Eruhaben will notice it right away if I eat dragon's heart and that will make
Cale hate me if he knows it."

"But you ate it before."

"That before the time was twisted."

"So what did you do with the heart?"

"I forced the dog to eat it."

Alberu laughed after hearing that.

"You are the cruellest person I know."

"Thank you."

Choi Han proudly take that as a compliment and Alberu could not shake his head seeing it.

"Well, anyway are you sure the last fragments that we need is this?" Alberu said as he tossed the
jar up and catches it again multiple times.

Choi Han shrugged.

"But it said something red and from great beings. Of course, it's dragon's blood."

Alberu looked at the jar of red liquid in his hand then clenched it tight but not enough to break it.
"With this, we can complete the dream," he said with a wide smile on his face.

However, his smile soon disappeared as he looked at Choi Han.

"Raon remembered. Don't you think it will be bothersome?"

Choi Han shook his head.

"I think it's good since he's there protecting Cale. Also, it seems like he only had his 40 years
memories so I think it will be okay."

Alberu frowned. However, if he thinks about it deeply, what Choi Han said was true. He
exhaustedly sighed.

'Raon is not a threat,' he thought before turning his back towards Choi Han then teleporting away.

Choi Han who just watched Alberu disappear sighed before going back to his bed to take a quick
nap.

As expected, the bombs that Cale and his group found were different from the previous timeline.
They found 8 bombs around the plaza and the bombs were stronger than before.

If the bombs around the plaza were already 8, Cale was sure that the bombs that were installed on
the citizens were more than it was supposed to be. Knowing it makes Cale feels anxious. He
wondered if 10 minutes were enough for them to get rid of the bombs.

'Should he find a new mana disturbance that better than what he rents at Billos?'

Cale shook his head, trying to make his thoughts about unnecessary things disappear. If he wanted
to find a new mana disturbance, it will be hard since he already ran out of time. All he needs now
was to put his faith in his group to get rid of the bombs in 10 minutes.

Choi Han himself said that he can handle all the bombs in less than 10 minutes, so his worry was
unneeded.

"Young master-nim, the carriage is ready."

Cale looked at Hans who was standing in front of the door of his room to take him to the carriage.
Today was the day where he needs to attend the banquet in Place of Joy. For these past few days,
everything was according to his plan.

Rosalyn asked about Raon and Lock's wishes. Only one thing that he messed up. It was his
meeting with Odeus, Billos' uncle. Since the blue Wolf siblings immediately teleport to his
residence together with Lock and Rosalyn, they didn't stay inside his inn.

"I need to do something so that I could meet him," Cale murmured under his breath.

His meeting with Billos' blood-related uncle isn't so important, but still, Cale needed him for
Raon's revenge and money for the cheapskate. Also, Flynn's family is somehow related to hunters.
Maybe by getting close to him, Cale could collect one of two information about hunters.
Cale entered the carriage together with the invisible Raon. The kittens wanted to follow him but
Cale didn't let him since they need to prepare for the plaza terror. Even if they follow him, they are
unable to enter the palace since the uninvited guest was unwelcome and perhaps will be chased
away.

"Human, when are we going to get your water ancient power?"

Raon who was no longer invisible when the carriage's door already closed tight, looked at Cale
with his big blue curious eyes as he asked.

"Tonight," Cale answered shortly.

The water ancient power will be the most troublesome and hardest ancient power he needed to
gain. In the previous timeline, he almost died just to get this ancient power. However now, Cale
worried nothing, he already had the water ancient power so everything will be easy.

As soon as Cale arrived in front of the gate of the Palace of Joy, Ron helped him open the door.

Just like in the previous timeline, all eyes were on him but Cale just ignored it as he wait for the
other northeastern nobles to arrive.

Cale sighed exhaustedly.

Just thinking about the event that will happen to him after this already makes him feel tired.

“Young master Cale.”

'Speak of the devil.'

Cale rolled his eyes before turning his head to look at Neo Tolz.

Neo had a warm and friendly smile on his face, as he spoke in a quiet voice that only Cale could
hear.

“What is a terrible trash like you doing coming to the palace?”

'Still the same.'

Cale mentally sighed for the nth time.

His mind was already tired of thinking about the bombs but now he had to deal with this dog that
leash was held by Venion?

What a good day....

Luckily, he didn't have to face Venion after this since Venion didn't stop his carriage to meet Cale
when they were in Tolz Territory. So Cale and Venion didn't become acquaintances.

Also, there's no way for Venion who held high his pride as the son of a marquis will suddenly
greet the son of a lowly count, not to mention the trash, not even a glance he will spare.

He just needs to be patience with the asshole in front of him now.

“What? Do you want to throw a bottle at me? Or do you want to hit me? Go ahead and try.”

Even though he already experienced this once, it was still annoying. The smugness on his face that
was like he was looking at a worm makes Cale want to slap his face hard just like he slapped White
Star.

At that moment, Cale’s gaze turned to a new carriage that just arrived.

'Finally, my saviour had arrived,' Cale exhaled in relief after knowing that he finally can get rid of
Venion's dog in front of him.

The carriage door burst open as soon as the carriage stopped, and Eric Wheelsman got out of the
carriage. Gilbert and Amiru were inside the carriage as well.

“Hyung-nim.”

Cale called for Eric who was rushing towards them after seeing the situation.

Cale’s sincere voice that called out to him, as well as the cold gaze in Cale’s eyes, told Eric
everything he needed to know.

‘Get rid of him.’

The eyes of the calmly standing Cale were giving that message to Eric.

somewhere near the gate because Cale requested it. It's not like he doesn't want to put Raon to use
but he rather Alver had the recording himself.

Cale could hear the servant shout out Eric, Gilbert, and Amir’s names as well as he walked into the
hall.

Everything is still the same as the previous timeline. Cale subconsciously smiled. His hyung-nim
really listened to him and kept everything the same.

Cale went towards his seat without caring about the eyes that were focused on him. Pure disgust
was printed on their face. However, Cale just ignored them and immediately sat on his seat.

Why should he care about them anyway? He knew that soon after those eyes will be looking up if
they wanted to look at him.

Cale is no arrogant person but if someone tried to show him who was the boss, he will make sure
to be the one.

"Ignore them, young master Cale."

Gilbert Chetter who was sitting next to Cale patted Cale's shoulder to bring his attention away from
those people. It's not like his attention was on them in the first place anyway.

"They're just shocked to see that young master Cale is the one who attending this important event
instead of Bassen Henituse."

Cale only glanced at Gilbert and then shifted his eyes toward the alcohol. It was no longer
appetizing, unlike the previous timeline. His mind was filled with war and everything, he can no
longer focus on his surrounding as his thoughts slowly became a mess.

Even Alver Crossman entered the hall, Cale failed to realize.

He only snapped from his thoughts when Taylor Sten and Kage entered the hall. Their entrance
was as dramatic as the previous timeline with all eyes on them also Venion's shocked face.

What a satisfying sight to see. Cale never got tired of watching the expression that Venion was
making.

As soon as his hyung-nim greeted Taylor and Kage and placed their seat at the same table as his,
Cale glanced at Alver who was also looking at him. He only took his gaze away from Cale when
the nobles greeted him.

"Cale, we will greet the crown prince after this. Remember to be still and quiet, okay? Let us
handle everything."

Cale nodded his head and then continued enjoying his meals while feeding the black dragon
stealthily. He noticed that his meals were different than the others. There were also some cookies
given to him. Maybe his hyung-nim prepared this special for him.

'How thoughtful,' Cale thought as he munched the cookies slowly. He also didn't forget to feed the
dragon the cookies.

When he saw that Amir, Eric, and Gilbert already stood up from their seat, Cale was also doing so.
Cale looked at them and then nodded his head.

Cale stood behind the three nobles and headed up the platform to meet with the crown prince.

Alver Crossman, the crown prince welcomed the four of them with a bright smile. His smile
became even brighter as soon as his eyes laid on Cale.

"I'm really happy to see all four of you were doing well."

Alver went towards Eric and then greeted him just like in the previous timeline. Cale could only
shake his head slowly whenever Alver used his glib tongue.

When it was finally Cale's turn, Alver's smile changed into the sincere one, and shook his hand
gently.

"It's nice to see you again, young master Cale."

Just a simple greeting made the others' attention immediately go toward Cale. The sound of people
whispering to each other started to fill the hall. Even Eric and Gilbert were also shocked by the fact
that Cale Henituse and the crown prince know each other.

Cale was also shocked that Alver directly revealed that they knew each other in front of everyone.
However, Cale still decided to play along with it.

"It's nice to see you again, Your Highness."

Cale could see that Alver's smile widened and there was excitement on his face. Cale doesn't know
what made his hyung-nim so excited. It's not like he wanted to know, that was why he just
shrugged it off.

"I'm really happy to see you in a good shape and healthy, young master Cale. I know this is out of
your schedule but young master Cale, will you be joining the wine party that I prepared after this?"

All people inside the room were looking at Cale with their jaws dropped. How can they not? The
crown prince was asking the infamous trash to join the wine party himself.

Is that trash's presence even important? However, the vital is why should the trash go to the wine

Cale pursed his lips after giving Alver his answer. It was not like he prioritize Alver over Choi
Han, no, he was just thinking maybe he and Choi Han could go collect the ancient power after the
wine party.

"That's great since I also have something to say to you after this."

That made Cale frown even more. He didn't know why Alver wanted him to go to the wine party
so badly. If he wanted to say something to him, they can just do it all the time, every time, and

who was smiling gently but, even though he was smiling, his brows were a little lowered. It looked
like a sad smile, no, worry?

"Yes, young master Taylor?"

"Why didn't you tell us that you had known his highness, the crown prince for a while now?" He
asked in a low voice as he slowly sipped his water.

"I thought he wanted me to keep that a secret," Cale replied.

Since he was told to stay for the wine party, he had no choice but to went back to his seat even
though he wanted to leave already.

"I see..... No wonder he had been looking at you from the start."

"Pardon?"
Cale could not help but frown. He didn't even realize that his hyung-nim had been keeping his eyes
on him since the start. He was busy thinking about the chaos that will happen in the future, maybe
that was why he failed to realize that his hyung-nim had been watching him.

"Yes, young master Cale."

This time it was Gilbert Chetter that was speaking.

"I also saw how his eyes keeps moving towards you. At first, I thought that he was worried
that....."

Cale's forehead wrinkled a little when he heard what Taylor and Gilbert had said to him. When he
tried to look at Alver again, their eyes met which made Cale immediately looked away.

and then focused on the foods and drinks in front of him.

Suddenly, he heard something that he never expected to pop up at that time.

It was the seeker.

Cale didn't know how he was supposed to answer the seeker. Her timing to tell him about

"Go tell Choi Han that I'll be late today," Cale whispered under his breath because he knew that no
matter how soft his voice was, Raon still could hear him.

After that Raon's presence around him disappeared which means he already teleported to the
Henituse residence to tell Choi Han about the message.

A moment later, some of the nobles already left the hall. Only some of them stay inside the hall,
mostly it was the high-ranking nobles.

At that moment, the servants came in and started to arrange the place. The tables that divided the
nobles into their regions were placed in the corner and replaced by a big table filled with foods and
wines.

The music in the background also started to change into more danceable music.

"Let's enjoy our wine party," Alver announced then the nobles started to chatter to each other and
dance.

Cale could only watch them in the corner with Amir beside him. Gilbert and Eric already went to
meet the crown prince first.

"Why don't you join young masters Eric and Gilbert, young lady Amir? Isn't the investment that
you guys will be dealing with the crown prince about the shoreline in your territory?"

Amir looked at Cale and then smiled.

"They can handle it," She answered then slowly walked towards the table filled with glasses of
wine. Cale followed her from behind.

Amir then took two glasses of wine then gave one to Cale.

"That's very kind of you to give this trash a wine, young lady Amir," Cale said but still took a sip of
the wine as soon as they cheered each other.

Amir twirled her wine glass for a second before she took a sip of it. She smiled gently then her
turquoise-colored eyes went towards Cale.

"You are no trash, young master Cale or.... should I call, Commander Cale Henituse?"

Cale looked at Amir in shock then subconsciously stepped backward. He almost stumbled but
Amir immediately pulled him and then brought him into the dance floor after placing their glasses
on the table.

"Wait– Amir!"

Amir just ignored Cale's panicked expression and then continued pulling him to the dance floor. A
lot of eyes were on them but it was not like the young lady cared.

"I never expected to see Commander Cale Henituse again here," Amir softly spoke as she lead
Cale's dance following the tempo of the music.

"I– I never expected for the young lady Amir to remember..."

Cale followed Amir's steps and slowly take the lead in the dancing which made Amir in awe. She
then chuckled and followed Cale's lead.

"I never expected Commander Cale to remember too. I thought it will be just me."

Amir pressed her body close to Cale and then smiled.

"Did the commander also make a deal with a God?"

Amir turned around and had her back facing Cale as they danced.

"No.... I remembered that I died and suddenly woke up in the past."

Amir frowned then immediately turned around again to face Cale even though she wasn't supposed
to.

"Died? No commander, you never died."

That made Cale even more confused.

"But I remembered.... I remembered that the seal exploded and killed everyone in Puzzle City."

"Commander, what are you talking about?"

However, even before Cale could answer Amir's question, the music suddenly stop and all of them
immediately stopped dancing. It was because the crown prince was raising his hand toward the
musician telling them that the music should be stopped.

Cale frowned when he saw Alver has hurriedly approached him. He then looked at Amir who
bowed her body slightly as soon as the crown prince arrived in front of them.

"Mind following me, young master Cale?"

Alver offered his hand to Cale. He was smiling widely as he was waiting for Cale to take his hand.

Cale frowned but still take Alver's hand since he had no choice because if he refused that will make
him look like he was humiliated Alver in front of everyone.

"Let's go, young master Cale."

Cale looked behind him again before completely turning his back towards Amir. He saw that Amir
was smiling gently, however it was different than her usual smile. Her usual smile was welcoming
and warm, but the one he saw before followed Alver was cold and empty.

Cale shivered right after he saw that smile. He wanted to ask more about what Amir meant by
made deal with god and how he never died. He remembered exactly how he died. Choi Han,
Alver, and Raon also said that he had died.

However, Alver kept pulling Cale's hand as he brought him to the balcony, preventing him from
going to Amir again.

The moment they arrived at the balcony, Alver locked the door with his magic so that the people
from inside cannot open it.

"Ahh! I'm tired!"

Alver stretched his body and then took a deep breath. After that, he sat on the balustrade and then
looked at Cale.

"Hyung-nim, you really don't care about your reputation, are you? How can a crown prince stop
the music just to get to the trash?"

Cale sighed as he sat next to Alver. The reaction that Alver gave Cale was really unexpected. Alver
laughed as if he didn't care at all.

The Alver that Cale knew really take seriously about his image and reputation because that was
what made a ruler good or bad.

"Don't worry, no bad rumor about me will appear. I already lived for 40 years to learn the best way
to prevent rumors from spreading around."
"Oh, how?"

Alver looked at his dongsaeng and then only smiled.

"That's my secret."

Disappointment clearly showed on Cale's face which only made Alver laugh.

"Anyway, why do you want me to join the wine party anyway?"

"I want to give you something?"

Alver then reached out to his pocket to take something then gave it to Cale.

It was a ruby necklace that was shaped like a sun as its pendant.

Cale took the necklace with his gloved hand. He scanned it first before putting it around his neck.
He gave Alver a warm smile.

"Thank you, hyung-nim. It's beautiful."

Alver smiled while slightly blushing as he rubbed his nape.

"Don't sell it."

"Don't worry, I won't. It's a gift from you anyway."

Alver grinned then rubbed Cale's head making the younger's head messy. Cale frowned and
immediately slapped Alver's hand away. He then with a grumpy face fixed his hair which made
Alver laugh softly.

"Anyway, where's Raon? It's really weird of him to not ask me for any cookies."

Alver then looked at the empty air, searching for the invisible young dragon.

"Oh. I told him to inform Choi Han that I'll be back late today. I don't know why he hasn't back to
me yet."

"I see. No wonder why it's so quiet."

Cale could hear Alver's soft sigh before stood up from the balustrade.

"Let's go back inside. It's getting cold."

Alver then wrapped his hand around Cale's waist as he brought Cale back inside. Cale tried to keep
the distance but Alver's grip only became tighter each time he tried to move away. Thus, Cale gave
up. In the end, he just lets his hyung-nim do whatever he wants to him.

'Really... Why did this crown prince become clingier?'

Cale sighed exhaustedly. Even though he already knew the answer, it was still weird because the
crown prince that he knew was not a very touchy person.

The wine party went well without any problem. Even though Alver kept Cale by his side all the
time, no one seemed to question it. They also kept a blind eye each time the crown prince became a
little too close to the trash.

It was an odd combination but no one seemed to oppose it since the crown prince always glared at
the people that tried to approach Cale and the dense Cale Henituse not seemed to realize it and only
thought no one was approaching him because he was trash.

As soon as Cale got home, he saw a very unexpected scene.

Choi Han was sleeping on his bed with the children. It was not even midnight yet but judging by
the way their sleeping positions were, they may be already fallen asleep two or three hours ago.

Cale smiled seeing the cute scene. His heart felt warm. All the bad memories about them dying in
front of Cale's eyes seemed to slowly fade away but were still not forgotten.

With a light step, Cale went to the bathroom, cleaning himself up and changing his clothes to a
pajama. After that, he slowly went to the bed and slowly climbed up while making sure not to
wake Choi Han and the children that were sleeping on it.

Cale's plan about taking the water ancient power in Eastern Continent had been forgotten. It's not
like they can't do it on another day.

Carefully, Cale lay next to Choi Han and then covered both him and Choi Han with a blanket since
the children were sleeping on his head.

After whispering goodnight to them, Cale slowly closed his tired eyes. Not even a minute, Cale
already fell asleep completely. That's why he failed to realize the smirk that appeared on the other's
face.
