13. A cone has a height of 12 cm and a base radius of 3.5 cm, how much ice cream can be
put into the cone?
14. Calculate what will be the surface area of a cube whose volume is given as 216 cm 3.
15. A person can swim in water with a speed of 13 km/hr in still water. If the speed of the
stream is 4 km/hr, what will be the time taken by the person to go 68 km downstream?

height of the electric pole.
30. A man is watching form the top of the tower a boat speeding away from the tower.
The boat makes the angle of depression of 60° with the man's eye when at a distance
of 75 meters from the tower. After 10 seconds the angle of depression becomes 45°.
What is the approximate speed of the boat, assuming that it is running in still water?
31. A right-angled triangle ABC with sides of 3 cm, 4 cm, and 5 cm is revolved around
the fixed side of 4 cm. find the shape of the solid generated along with the total
surface area of the same?
32. A conical vessel has a height of 8cm and a slant height of 10cm to find the volume of
the vessel.
33. A boatman can row a boat upstream at 14 km/hr and downstream at 20 km/hr. Find
the speed of the boat in still water and the speed of the stream.
34. In a boat race, a person rows a boat 6 km upstream and returns to the starting point
in 4 hours. If the speed of the stream is 2 km/hr, find the speed of the boat in still
water.
