I. (a) Consider the initial value problem:

Find an interval containing x = 0 where all the successive approximations exist and their
graphs are in R.

circumscribed about the parabola 2x = 𝑦 2 + 𝑧 2 is the enveloping cylinder which touches
it along its section by the plane y+1= 0.
(b) Solve (𝐷2 - DD' - 2𝐷′2 ) z = (y-1) 𝑒 𝑥 .

IX. (a) Solve the differential equation
