St(s): Stitch(es)

SS: Slip stitch


SC or Single Crochet: 2 stitches in 1 stitch - Insert hook in stitch stated, pull up a loop,
yarn over and pull through both loops

DC or Double Crochet: Same as the single crochet stitch but twice as high - Yarn over,
insert hook in stitch stated, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull
through 2 loops

HDC or Half Double Crochet: yarn over insert hook in stitch stated, pull up a loop yarn
over pull

through all 3 loops on hook

TC or Triple Crochet: Same as the single crochet stitch but 3 times higher - Yarn over
twice, insert

hook in stitch stated, pick up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull
through 2 loops, yarn over pull through 2 loops

INCR or Increase: 2 SC in 1 stitch - Insert hook in stitch stated, pull up a loop, yarn over
and pull

through both loops, Insert hook in the same stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull
through both

loops

DEC or Decrease: stitch 2 stitches together – Pick up a loop in stitch stated, pick up
another loop in stitch stated and pull this one through all stitches

YOU'LL NEED

Yarn: Light weight in the colors white, light pink and gray

Materials: scissor, hook size 3.5, needle, plastic animals’ eyes 12mm and fiberfill for
stuffing

HEAD

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with light pink colored yarn.

1. Magic loop (6sts)


2. INCR in every st (12sts)

3. INCR in every 2d st (18sts)

4. INCR in every 3d st (24sts)

5. INCR in every 4th st (30sts)

6. INCR in every 5th st (36sts)

7. INCR in every 6 th st (42sts)

8. SC for 7 rounds (42sts in each round)

9. DEC every 6th and 7th st together (36sts)

10. DEC every 5th and 6th st together (30sts)

11. DEC every 4th en 5th st together (24sts)

15. DEC every 3d and 4th st together (18sts)

16. Turn the project inside out and click the eyes in place

-Stuff the head with fiberfill

17. DEC every 2d and 3th st together (12sts)

18. SC for 50 rounds (12sts in each round)

19. Finish off with a SS and Sew the gap horizontally


BEAK

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with grey colored yarn.

1. Magic loop (6sts)

2. SC around (6sts)

3. INC in the first st, SC in the remaining sts (8sts)

4. INC in the first st, SC in the remaining sts (10sts)

5. INC in the first st, SC in the remaining sts (12sts)

6. SC around (12sts)
-change to white colored yarn

7. SC around (12sts)

8. INC in the first st, SC in the remaining sts (14sts)

9. SC around (14sts)

10. Finish off with a SS

-Stuff the beak with fiberfill and sew it on the middle of the head. Use the picture as
reference

EYES (2)

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with white colored yarn.

1. Magic loop (6sts)

2. INCR in every st (12sts)

-change to light pink colored yarn

3. SC around (12sts)

4. Finish off with a SS

-Pin the eyes in the middle and sew the finished product on the sides of the face, slightly
next to the beak. Use the picture as reference.

BODY

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start light pink colored yarn

1. Magic ring (6sts)

2. INCR in every st (12sts)

3. INCR in every 2dst (18sts)

4. INCR in every 3d st (24sts)


5. INCR in every 4th st (30sts)

6. INCR in every 5th st (36sts)

7. INCR in every 6th st (42sts)

8. INCR in every 7th st (48sts)

9. SC in the next 7 rounds (48sts in each round)

-Turn the project inside out

10. DEC every 7th and 8th st together (42sts)

11. DEC every 6th and 7th st together (36sts)

12. DEC every 5th and 6th st together (30sts)

13. DEC every 4th and 5th st together (24sts)

14. DEC every 3th and 4th st together (18sts)

-Stuff the doll with fiberfill

15. DEC every 2d and 3th st together (12sts)

16. Finish off with a SS and sew the gap

-You need to attach the head on the body now by sewing the neck at the bottom of it.
Use the picture as reference. To make the neck steady you're going to sew it along the
body so that it will stay up by itself.
LEGS - TOP PART (2)

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with white colored yarn

1. Magic ring (6sts)

2. INCR in every st (12sts)

3. INCR every 2d st (18sts)

4. SC in the next 4 rounds (18sts in each round)

5. DEC every 2d and 3d st together (12sts)

6. DEC every 2d and 3d st together (8sts)

7. SC in the next 23 rounds (8sts in each round)

-Stuff with fiberfill

8. Finish off with a SS and sew the horizontally

-Sew the parts underneath the body, right next to where the neck begins. Use the
picture as reference

LEGS - BOTTOM PART (2)

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with white colored yarn

1. Magic ring (6sts)

2. INCR in every 3d st (8sts)

3. SC in the next 30 rounds (8sts in each round)

-Stuff with fiberfill

4. Finish off with a SS and sew the horizontally

-Sew the finished product horizontally on the top part of the legs where it's round. Use
the picture as reference.
FEET (2)

Will be worked in continual rounds of sc, you may like to use a stitch marker.

-Start with white colored yarn

1. Magic ring (6sts)

2. INCR in every st (12sts)

3. INCR every 2d st (18sts)

4. SC in the next 2 rounds (18sts in each round)

5. INCR every 3d st (24sts)

6. SC in the next 2 rounds (24sts in each round)


-Stuff with fiberfill

7. Finish off with a SS and sew the gap horizontally

-With a piece of white colored yarn, you need to divide the feet in three parts by sewing
it tightly. Use the picture as reference

-Sew the parts underneath the bottom legs. Use the picture as reference

TAIL & WINGS

Will be worked in a chains

-Start with light pink colored yarn and make two pieces
1. Chain 14sts

2. Turn the project and work along the chain

3. SC 3 sts along the chain

-this method will make the chain twist

4. Finish off with a SS

-Start with light pink colored yarn and make two pieces

1. Chain 18sts

2. Turn the project and work along the chain

3. SC 3 sts along the chain

-this method will make the chain twist

4. Finish off with a SS

-Start with light pink colored yarn and make two pieces

1. Chain 24sts

2. Turn the project and work along the chain
