A RESOLUTION SUGGESTING TO INCORPORATE IN THE SCHOOL

IMPROVEMENT PLAN THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT
UNIT (LGU) OF MUNICIPALITY OF URBIZTONDO IN THE PROGRAMS,
PROJECTS, AND ACTIVITIES FOR AN EFFECTIVE RESOURCE GENERATION,
SUPPORT SERVICES AND MANPOWER.

WHEREAS, the MBES-SGC manifested their support to the SIP and AIP
movement;
WHEREAS, the MBES-SGC work collaboratively with the school principal, faculty
and other school organizations.

WHEREAS, the MBES-SGC suggested/raised the following to the school head

during the SGC Meeting:

1. The involvement of LGUs ensures active learning, attainment of

learning standards, and improvement or maintenance of conducive
learning environment

 2. The partnership with the LGUs strengthens resource generation for the
improvement of infrastructures, projects, learning equipment and
other learner development programs
3. The council is willing to build partnership with the abovementioned

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE MALAYO-BUENLAG

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL SUPPORTS TO
IMPROVE THE ANNUAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN, SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
AND SCHOOL PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT THE MALAYO-BUENLAG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL SHALL INVOLVE THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT UNIT IN THE PROGRAMS, PROJECTS, AND ACTIVITIES FOR
AN EFFECTIVE RESOURCE GENERATION, SUPPORT, SERVICES AND
MANPOWER.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the programs and activities which need SGC’s involvement, assistance and

DISCUSSION FORUM ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF CAMPUS SECURITY

OVERVIEW:

In line with the initiative to improve campus security, the School Governance
Council of Malayo-Buenlag Elementary School organized a discussion forum inviting
the concerned parents, school officials, as well as representatives from the barangay
officials, to the discuss the efforts to strengthen the security within the campus.

OBJECTIVE/S;

The project aims to:

1. Engage internal and external stakeholders on efforts need to improve campus
security.

BACKGROUND:
Due to the landslide caused by typhoon Marie in the Municipality of Urbiztondo, several
barangays are having transportation difficulties. The School Governance Council of
MBES conducted a meeting to discuss initiatives to address this concern and decided to
organize transportation service for students.
OBJECTIVE/S:
The project aims to:
1. Alleviate the difficulties in commuting to the school
2. Reduce the financial burden of transportation to the students
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
The main activities to be conducted for this project are:
1. Stakeholder consultation meetings
2. Procurement of Transportation Services
EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
The project aims to deliver the following:
1. Provision of transportation relief for students
2. Ensure safety of students in commuting to the school
INDICATORS OF ACHIEVEMENT:
The following scenarios indicate achievement of the objectives:
1. Retained school attendance of students
2. Retained participation of students and submission of academic requirement

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
The SGC of MBES will hire one (1) bus to pick up students at designated points
in the municipality. The expenses incurred by the transportation service shall be
covered by the LGU.
