.Description:
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to computer networking, covering the fundamental
concepts, protocols, and technologies that enable communication between devices and the transfer of
data across networks. Students will learn about network architecture, network protocols, network
security, and network troubleshooting.

Through hands-on labs and practical exercises, students will gain a solid understanding of networking
principles and develop skills to design, implement, and manage computer networks.

Outcomes:
1. Understand the basic concepts and components of computer networks.

2. Explain the principles of network architecture and design.

3. Identify and analyze various network protocols and their functionalities.

4. Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers and switches.

5. Understand network security principles and implement basic security measures.

6. Design and implement local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).

7. Apply network management techniques for monitoring and optimizing network performance.
