MOGCHS INTRAMURALS 2023

GROUND RULES AND GENERAL GUIDELINES
November 23-24, 2023

1. Bonafide MOGCHS leaners in each respective year level with no age limit
are allowed to play.
2. Players should observe sportsmanship and proper ethics in every game.
3. Players must wear appropriate sports attire while playing.
3.1 Players should wear the prescribed uniform of his/her team.
3.2 The players in Team Sports Event should wear the team uniform as
determined by the officials.
3.3 Players should wear appropriate shoes in playing.
4. Each year level will provide their own banner(3x5)& rope(16m) ballpen size.
5. None athletes will be the performers for Saludo with a maximum of 100 &
minimum of 50 learners and max. of 5 minutes & minimum of 3 minutes
including entrance and exit for the time duration.
6. Most Disciplined, Loudest Cheer and Best in Saludo contest will be
judged during the opening program.
7. Coordinate with Mr. Roniel N. Aspiras for the Mr. & Ms. Intramurals
2023.
8. All games are to be played as scheduled. If there are changes of schedule,
the officials or organizer will inform the Team/Tournament Directors.
8.1 Team Manager is defined as the Team Coach per event.
8.2 Tournament Manager or Head of Delegation is defined as the Year Level
President.
9. Grade level coaches in every event should report and stay with their athletes
10.The Tournament Director will declare a default if the players or team is late
for 15 minutes after the 3rd call and final call.
 10.1 First game will start at 1:00 PM on Nov. 23, 2023 during the first day
of Intramurals.
10.2 There will be a Zumba Fitness Activity on November 24, 2023,5:30
in the morning at Sports Center.
10.3 Games will resume on Nov. 24, 2023 at 7:30 AM.
10.4 The Closing Program will start at 2:00 in the afternoon.
11. All games are to be played in Double Elimination type of tournament.
12. The OVER-ALL CHAMPION will be determined through ranking of all
sports events.
1st place- Rank 1
2nd place-- Rank 2
3rd place-- Rank 3
4th place-- Rank 4
5th place-- Rank 5
6th place- -Rank 6
13. Players can play a maximum of two(2) sports events (indoor/outdoor/track
event).
14. The players who qualify to play during Intramurals are those listed in the
official list submitted by the Year Level President/Athletic Manager to
Tournament Director. Strict implementation of “NO NAMES, NO PLAY”.
15. “No insurance, No play” policy.
16. Coordinate with Mr. Rodulfo Angulo for the Parent’s Permit.
17. The deadline for the submission of the list of players in all events is on
Nov. 10, 2023. List should be submitted to the Assigned MAPEH teacher
by year level.

18. The officials will automatically disqualify players who are misbehaving or
hurting opponents during the game.

19. The official Referee/Tournament Director will be given the full authority to
disqualify a player or a team who violates the rules or standards of a
 particular game. Such decision is over and above the authority of the Sports
Coordinator and OIC, MAPEH Dept. (Mr. Rodulfo M. Angulo and
Ms.Jennelyn L. Quimson).

18. Grade Level Seat Arrangement will be observed based on the assigned area.
Refer to Table 1 below.
