Guidelines and Mechanics for Mr. and Ms.

Personality 2023
I. ELIGIBILITY:
1) Candidates must be currently enrolled students of the institution.
2) Candidates must not be married and should not have children.
3) Candidates must have good academic standing and no pending disciplinary actions.
4) Candidates must demonstrate good moral character.
II. REGISTRATION OF CANDIDATES (BY DEPARTMENT):
1) The Department must submit their official candidates’ name and contact number within the specified
deadline.
2) A selection committee will review the candidates’ background and conduct interviews to ensure
eligibility and suitability.
3) The final candidates will be announced after the selection process.
4) The Department shall abide by the rules and regulation set by the overall chairperson of the Pageant
together with the Pageant Committee and the Production Team.
5) The Hair and Make-up Team for each of the Department shall abide to the rules and regulation set by
the Production Manager of the Production Team with the approval of the Overall Chairperson of the
Pageant together with the Pageant Committee.
6) The candidates for each of the Department shall abide to the rules and regulation set by the
Production Manager of the Production Team with the approval of the Overall Chairperson of the
Pageant together with the Pageant Committee.

III. COMPETITION SEGMENTS:


The Mr. and Ms. Personality 2023 competition will consist of the following segments:
A. BEST IN PRODUCTION NUMBER:
Candidates will showcase their creativity, stage presence, and talent through a production number
performance. The production number should reflect the candidate's personality and artistic abilities.
B. BEST IN PRODUCTION ATTIRE:
Candidates will model production attire that complements their performance. The candidates will be
judged on how well they bring their production attire in the performance.
C. BEST IN PLAYSUIT:
Candidates will model playsuits that display their confidence and style. The candidates will be judged on
how they will bring the playsuits and how they represent the candidate's personality.
D. BEST IN FORMAL ATTIRE/WEAR:
Candidates will don formal attire that demonstrates elegance and sophistication. Formal wear should be
appropriate for a formal event or occasion.
E. BEST IN INTERVIEW:
Candidates will participate in a structured interview with a panel of judges. The interview may cover
topics related to personal achievements, advocacy, and future plans.
IV. Scoring and Judging Criteria:
Each segment will be judged separately, and scores will be recorded for each candidate. Judges should
be impartial and should not have any conflicts of interest with the candidates. Judges' decisions are final
and not subject to appeal.

a. Best in Production Number:
Creativity

Originality, uniqueness, and creativity in the performance.
Stage Presence
Confidence, charisma, and the ability to engage the 35
audience.
Talent
Skill and performance quality, showcasing their artistic 25
abilities.
Overall Impact
The overall impact of the production number, including 10
entertainment value and audience engagement.

b. Best in Production Attire:


Relevance to Theme
How well the production attire aligns with and enhances 30
the theme or concept of the performance.
Fashion Sense
Stylishness, design, and overall fashion appeal of the 25
attire.
Stage Compatibility

How well the attire complements the stage performance.
Overall Presentation
25
Overall impact and presentation of the production attire.

c. Best in Playsuit:
Confidence
How confidently the candidate carries themselves in the 30
playsuit.
Fashion Sense

How well the playsuit reflects and enhances the candidate's 20

Overall impact and presentation of the playsuit.

d. Best in Formal Attire/Wear:

Overall Presentation

e. Top 5 Selection Criteria:


Physical Attributes (50%):
Physical Fitness
Candidates' overall physical health, fitness level, and body 25
conditioning.
Grooming
Personal grooming, cleanliness, and attention to 15
appearance.
Stage Presence
Confidence, posture, and how well candidates carry 10
themselves on stage.
Interview Performance (50%):
Communication Skills
Clarity, articulation, and effective communication during 20
the interview.
Depth of Knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and depth in 15
responses.
Relevance to Questions
How well candidates' responses align with the interview 15
questions and showcase their personality.
TOTAL 100
The candidates with the highest combined scores will be awarded the titles of Mr. and Ms. Personality 2023.
Certificates, crowns and recognition will be given to the winners. The winners may be invited to represent the institution
in external events and competitions.
