Overview
Overview
This Guide describes the Philips-provided application for reviewing data exported from the
Information Center. The Research Data Export Viewer allows a clinical operator to review
basic patient information, waveforms, trends, and alarms. It also provides limited
functionality for printing or exporting the data as a graphic image or .csv export in some
cases.
Warning The Research Data Export Viewer is for research purposes only and is not intended for
patient care.
The Research Data Export Viewer must be installed and run on a PC that is not running the
Information Center product and applications and that meets the specified requirements
(Table 1-1).
Security The Research Data Export Viewer has no security features; security requirements are the
responsibility of the hospital. Research Data Export Viewer has no safeguards to enforce
HIPAA or other privacy standards; it is assumed that de-identification software (not Philips
supplied) is applied to the files before viewing.
Warning If the IntelliVue Information Center system clock is changed either manually or
automatically, some export data may be lost.
