1.2 Three Basic Concepts that relate
to feng shui are:
1.Chi (energy) - Chi redirects to many
descriptions: air, breath, spirit, soul etc Chi
maintains a balance of form in nature
and the universe also manages natural
cycles.

2.Yin and Yang - These are two opposing

forces: positive and negative, light and
dark, male and female etc. All things in
nature are subjected to this law of
balance. For example, a tree grows
through the night and rests during the
day; hot days are followed by cool nights.
In order to establish energy balance, you
must turn things around to neutralize the
effects of yin energy by using the yang
energy properly.

-Yin and Yang Repulsion Law:

This law is simple to use: it means that a

combination of two yin forces repel each
other and a combination of two yang
forces also repel each other; therefore, a
combination of one yin force and one
yang force also repel each other. And
opposite energies attract each other
when they are put together.

3.The flow of energy - When there is an
imbalance in the flow of energy in a
house, it causes bad luck. In order to
correct or neutralize feng shui problems,
you must redirect the flow of chi. There
are two ways to do so:

-Activation: By placing items where they

are meant to be:
