PDV Developing The Whole Person

Developing the Whole Person discusses holistic development which views a person in their totality rather than just parts. It discusses 5 aspects - physiological, cognitive, psychological, social, and spiritual. Philosophically, it examines dualism which sees opposites as rigidly divided, versus Eastern views of dynamism between forces. Holism sees things as greater than the sum of parts, like a symphony being more than individual notes. Understanding people holistically considers how the 5 aspects interrelate to form a unique whole, with no single aspect in isolation from others.
