Acknowledgement

I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my English


teacher Ms. Arpita Dutta as well has our principal Ms. Jeelu Mary
Varghese who gave me the golden opportunity to do this wonderful
project on the topic-“Internship: a need for teenagers”.

Secondly, I would also like to thank my parents and friends who


helped me a lot finalizing this project within the limited time frame.

Lastly, I would like to thank all my supporters who have motivated


me to fulfill their project before the timeline.

Q. Why did you consider doing an Internship?

A. Internships are a great way for students and recent graduates to


gain real-world experience in their field of interest, develop new
skills, and make connections in their industry. It can also provide an
opportunity to explore different career paths and get a foot in the
door at a company or organization. Additionally, internships can be a
valuable addition to a resume and may give candidates an edge in
the job market.

Q. What are you gaining from this internship experience wise?

A. Internships provide a great environment for career exploration,


offer practical experience that integrates classroom knowledge with
skills, provide networking opportunities and professional
recommendations, and offer resume-worthy experience.

Q. What are the advantages of an Internship?

A. Internships offer numerous benefits for individuals looking to gain


valuable experience in their field of interest. Firstly, internships
provide a great environment for career exploration, allowing
students to gain hands-on knowledge in their career field.

Q. What are the disadvantages of an Internship?

A. Some of the disadvantages of internships include little or no pay,


strict requirements, menial work, potential conflicts of interest, and
no guarantee of a job. Additionally, interns may not receive the same
treatment as full-time employees and may be assigned tasks that are
not important. However, it's important to note that these
disadvantages can vary depending on the specific internship and
should be researched before making a decision.

Q. Do you think teenagers should always go for Internships?

A. While internships can be highly beneficial for teenagers as they


provide an opportunity to gain practical experience, explore different
career options, and build their network, it's important for students to
research specific internships to determine if they are a good fit for
their needs and goals. There are potential disadvantages such as
little or no pay, strict requirements, menial work, potential conflicts
of interest, and no guarantee of a job. It ultimately depends on the
individual circumstances and goals of the teenager. They should
consider their own needs and goals before deciding whether or not
to pursue an internship.
