Position overview

We are looking for a Container Security Manager to join our Randstad Digital Romania
team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating all the services owned by the
Container Management and Security pillar of our client. Also, you will have the opportunity
to work with Containers as a Service (CaaS) and Clusters as a Service (CLaaS).

Responsibilities

 Operating leading-edge enterprise solutions using cloud-native technologies and


security best practices to deliver business value for the internal customers.
 Collaborating with internal customers to gather business and technical requirements;
 Collaborating with the various work streams of our client to create comprehensive
enterprise solutions;
 Providing knowledges and direction to team members to accelerate the team’s
throughput and improve the quality of deliverables;
 Participating in operations workshops;
 Maintaining and enforcing the security standards.

Requirements

 At 2 years of experience in an operations role;


 Understanding and implementing key metrics of success for operating services in an
enterprise;
 Knowledges of Kubernetes, Docker, container images, and container security;
 Knowledges of cloud-native concepts and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation
(CNCF) Landscape;
 Previous interaction with at least one cloud provider and its underlying container
services (. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud);
 Previous experience with at least one Kubernetes distribution (. EKS, AKS, GKE,
RKE/K3s, Red Hat OpenShift, TKG);
 Previous experience with at least one service mesh technology (. Istio, Linkerd,
OpenShift Service Mesh (Red Hat) or Open Service Mesh (OSM), Kong Mesh/Kong
Kuma);
 Previous experience with at least one Kubernetes security tool (. Aqua
Platform/Container Security/Kubernetes Security/Dynamic Threat Analysis, Prisma
Compute (previously Twistlock), Qualys Container Security);
 Previous experience with at least one container image scanning tool (. Anchore, Aqua
Security/Trivy, Clair, Dagda, Falco, JFrog Xray);
 Knowledges of at least one container registry (. ECR, ACR, GitLab Container
Registry, Google Cloud Container Registry);
 Knowledges of the typical Kubernetes resources and how to create manifests defining
them (. ConfigMap, PersistentVolume (PV), Ingress, Service);
 Previous experience of at least one Container Network Interface (CNI) driver (. Azure
CNI, Amazon VPC CNI, Flannel);
 Previous experience of at least one Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver (. EBS,
EFS, FSX, Azure Disk);
 Knowledges of networking concepts, including best-practices networking models and
security;
 Understanding of microservice architecture and best practices;
 Previous experience of creating a Dockerfile to build an OCI-compliant
Docker/container image;
 Previous experience in automating the processes using Integration /
 Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools (. Argo CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline);
 Understanding of observability in Kubernetes using different tools (. Grafana, Kibana,
Elasticsearch, Prometheus);
 Knowledge of Git, Helm and Kubectl;
 Previous experience with YAML syntax;
 Previous experience with tools like Coggle, Creately, Miro, Lucidcart, / ;
 The ability to empathize with customers and engage with the stakeholders to align on
goals, business objectives, timelines, and execution plan;
 University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Electronics and
Telecommunications;
 Self-motivated;
 Good English skills (written and verbal) and team player

Nice to have:

 Knowledges of Python, Golang/Go, Bash, Kubernetes Operators, HCL, ZTA,


Blue/green deployments, canary deployments or automated testing (ex: unit testing,
integration testing, smoke testing);
 Work experience in a highly-regulated, highly-secure industry (SOC2, Information
Security Policy (ISP) Controls).
