TRAVEL ESSENTIALS COLLECTION

MOBILE PRESETS by WONGUY

Introduction:

Hello !

Thanks so much for purchasing my custom-made mobile Lightroom Presets.

The TRAVEL ESSENTIALS collection consists of 11 Lightroom presets made for your
travel photos from all over the world ! The collection covers all the locations and moments
from tropical beaches, moody landscapes to ancient and modern cityscapes shot from
dusk till dawn. I have been creating this presets collection for the past 2 years of
adventures around the world and have perfected them after each trip. These are the
mobile presets I use for all my edits on-the-go now ! They will give a clean and unique look
to your city and landscape photography work - the same look as the photos you see on my
Instagram @wonguy974 and on my website.

Here are some quick tips to get started with your new Presets !

General information:

- A description of each preset is given in the Presentation document in the main folder.
- These presets are specifically designed for the free mobile app called Adobe Lightroom.
This app is totally free to use and you don’t need any Adobe Creative Cloud subscription !
Make sure to have the app on your phone before starting to install the presets. You can
download the app on iOS AppStore & Android PlayStore.
- The mobile presets come as .DNG files. Follow the instructions below to install and use
them.
- These presets will only work on your phone (mainly JPEG photos) and is the most
convenient solution for editing on the go.
- Please be aware that all presets work differently depending on the picture and on how
they were shot (natural light, exposure, camera settings, etc). You will likely have to make
some adjustments after applying a preset (check the tutorial video in the main folder to
know how I make the adjustments before & after applying a preset).
- The presets do not include the correction of the Exposure. Before applying them, please
adjust Exposure properly to get the most out of the presets (see the tutorial video in the
main folder).
- Use #WonguyPresets on your Instagram posts so I can check out your work !
Terms of service and use:

- The presets included in this pack are custom-made by me and are copyright protected.
- The presets can only be used by 1 individual for professional or personal usage.
- The presets are not allowed to be shared, copied or redistributed in any way.
- Posting a downloadable link of the presets on the internet is strictly prohibited and may
be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- Due to the “digital nature” of the presets, I offer no refunds and every purchase is final.

How to install the mobile presets on your phone:

1. Download the DNG presets to your phone

With your phone only

If you were able to unzip the downloaded Zip file with your phone, the mobile presets are
located in the “Presets (DNG)” folder inside the unzipped “WG - Travel Essentials (Mobile)”
folder. Please keep in mind the location of this folder and skip directly to Step 2.

Via Computer
If you have downloaded the Zip file with your computer, you need to transfer the DNG
files to your phone : in the unzipped “WG - Travel Essentials (Mobile)” folder, there is a
folder called “Presets (DNG)” which contains the presets. Upload the “Presets (DNG)”
folder to a Cloud storage service like iCloud, Dropbox, Onedrive or Google Drive.
Once all the presets are synced on your cloud, you can either save the DNG presets on
your phone or keep their location in mind on the Cloud storage so you can access them
later within Lightroom.

2. Open Adobe Lightroom app on your phone

3. Click on the + to create an Album (Travel Essentials Presets for example) where
you would like to import the presets

4. Go into the album, click on the Add Photos option and select From Files
5. Choose the location on your phone where you uploaded the .DNG files

6. Select all the presets and click Open/Add/Import

7. The DNG files should now appear in your Lightroom gallery.

How to use my presets:

At this point, you are given two options to use the presets :

Option 1 : Create the Presets within Lightroom from the .DNG files

This is the recommended option ! It takes a few minutes to create but it will save you
much more time in the future than Option 2. The idea is to create the Presets within
Lightroom so you can access them at any time for any picture without having to use the
original .DNG files. Here is the step-by-step guide :

1. Open the first DNG preset (Glow for this example).

2. Tap on the 3 dots (…) at the top right and then click on Create Preset (see screen
below)

3. Create the Preset with the New Preset panel (see below) which contains all the
options to customize the preset. I advise you to give the same name as written on
the DNG file (Glow for this example) and add it into a Preset Group called WG –
Travel Essentials in Lightroom. It is the best way to keep your presets organized !
Please check ALL the boxes except for Tools, Optics and Geometry to have the full
extent of my presets. Click the Checkmark icon to save the preset.
4. Repeat the same step for each DNG file to have the entire presets collection ready
to be used ! You will need to do this only once :)

5. Use the presets within the Presets panel on any photo you would like to edit : open
the photo and click on the Presets icon in the menu at the bottom (see below)

6. Select the WG – Travel Essentials group of presets and apply the desired preset !
7. That’s it ! Enjoy the presets !

NOTE : As mentioned earlier, my presets no dot change the Exposure setting ! I encourage
you to make the adjustments before or after applying the preset. Please watch the
tutorial video in the main folder to see how I use them !

Option 2 : Use the Copy/Paste Settings option

This is the oldest way to use the .DNG presets but still works fine ! It can however be time-
consuming as you always need to go back to the .DNG files when you want to apply them
on your pictures. The step-by-step instructions are as follows :

1. Upload a picture you would like to edit and adjust the Exposure before applying
the preset
2. Select one of the Travel Essentials presets (click on the DNG file) you want to apply
to the uploaded picture
3. On the top right corner, click on the 3 dots (…) and select Copy Settings
4. On the Copy Settings window, make sure most of the settings are selected (you
can uncheck the Tools, Optics & Geometry boxes) and click OK
5. Go to the picture you want to edit
6. On the top right corner, click on the 3 dots (…) and select Paste Settings
7. That’s it ! The magic has been applied J

Enjoy the presets and feel free to share your edited pictures with the hashtag
