Position Overview: As a Program Manager in the software delivery industry, you will
be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of software
development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including
software engineers, product managers, quality assurance professionals, and
stakeholders, to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. Your role will
involve managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and customer requirements. You will also be responsible for
maintaining effective communication channels, tracking project progress, and
resolving any issues or risks that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:


 Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope,
and deliverables.
 Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones,
and resource allocation.
 Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules,
budgets, and quality standards.
 Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving any issues that may
impede project success.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
 Work closely with software engineering, product management, and
quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
 Facilitate effective communication between teams, promoting
collaboration and knowledge sharing.
 Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging
teamwork and cross-functional problem-solving.
3. Stakeholder Management:
 Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather project
requirements and expectations.
 Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders,
ensuring transparency and alignment.
 Manage stakeholder feedback and expectations, balancing business
objectives and customer needs.
4. Resource Management:
 Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget,
and tools.
 Collaborate with resource managers and team leads to ensure
adequate staffing and skill sets for project success.
 Monitor resource utilization, identifying opportunities for optimization
and efficiency improvement.
5. Process Improvement:
 Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and
methodologies.
 Identify areas for optimization, standardization, and automation to
enhance project delivery efficiency.
 Promote best practices and lessons learned across projects and teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related


field.
 Proven experience (5 to 9 years) as a Program Manager or Project Manager in
the software delivery industry.
 Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project
management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
 Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate
and inspire cross-functional teams.
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively
engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
 Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving
successful project outcomes.
 Proficient in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Trello, or
Microsoft Project.
 PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
