for immigration inspection. ( The immigration office will charge 3-4% credit card fee)
It is recommended you that complete the registration of your E-visa before departure. If the E-visa is not
completed before departure, you can get a visa at the entry airport (you need to queue up). No matter which visa
method you choose, please keep the Invoice (electronic receipt or paper voucher) as a reimbursement. The

NOTE 1:
1. Photography and filming are strictly prohibited in Bali Airport. If detected by local customs, law enforcement
officers will confiscate the camera equipment and impose a fine in accordance with the local law. The fine
ranges from 200-500 US dollars and there is no upper limit!
2. Please prepare the Indonesian visa fee in cash on arrival in advance (no change is provided at the counter).
After arriving in Bali, go to the Visa on Arrival counter (VOA) to apply for a visa, and carefully check whether
the customs officer has stamped the entry stamp on your passport! (Very important), e-visa holders can go to
immigration directly.
3. It is strictly prohibited to carry suitcases with electronic functions, lithium battery devices, and USB functions.
Airlines will refuse to carry them regardless of whether they are portable or checked.
4. Electronic entry form and electronic declaration at entry-exit customs are required.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
1. Passengers taking international flights are required to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in
advance for check in, and must carry a valid passport.
2. Each passenger can check in with one piece of luggage not exceeding 20 kilograms free of
charge. Valuable and fragile items should be placed in hand luggage. One piece of free hand
luggage weighs no more than 8 kilograms (length 56cm x width 36cm x height 23cm) (liquids
exceeding 100ml, lighters, compressed gas tanks, flammable and explosive items, dangerous
goods, scissors, nail clippers, etc. cannot be brought inside the cabin). Baggage exceeding the
specified weight or size must be checked in. Oversized or overweight baggage will be
required to pay additional surcharges. Passports, air tickets, cash, cameras, camcorders and

ENTRY AND EXIT CUSTOMS

1. Indonesian customs entry: You can bring 2 liters of alcohol, 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or an

appropriate amount of perfume into the country (excessive amounts will be confiscated

within Indonesia are prohibited from being taken out of the country.

THINGS TO PAY ATTENTION DURING TRAVEL
1. Passport is the only valid identification abroad, please keep it safe by yourself. If you lose your passport, you will no
longer be able to travel, and you will have to pay additional fees to go to the local embassy or consulate of your own

Climate conditions: Indonesia is located at the equator and has a hot climate all year round. The average annual
temperature during the trip was 26-30°C. The local climate is a typical tropical rainforest. The rainy season is from
November to April.Please pay attention to prevent sunshine. Wear sunscreen as much as possible when going
out.

Time difference: No time difference between Bali time & HK, TW, MY & SG, 1 Hr ahead of VN & TH, 2.5 Hrs ahead
of India, 1 Hr behind Japan & Korea

Language: Bahasa Indonesia is the official language of Indonesia. Basic proficiency in English.

Currency used (exchange rate): Indonesian currency rupiah, generally called rupiah. The exchange rate between
USD and Indonesian rupiah is approx. 1: 15500 – 15700 Make sure that the banknotes are in good condition.
Wrinkled, worn, or stained banknotes will not be accepted locally. There are hundreds of store POS machines in
Jakarta, Bali, Bandung, etc. in Indonesia that can accept UnionPay, Visa or Master cards.

Note: It is recommended that all employees exchange US dollars or Indonesian rupiah at a local bank before
departure .

Communications: Indonesia’s international dialing code is: 0062. Indonesia. Telecom charges in Indonesia might be expensive,

day. It can also be purchased in supermarkets and other places. The most common local brand is "Aqua". Drinking water and ice
provided by restaurants and bars are safe to drink.

Religion: 90% of the residents believe in Hinduism, and a small number of Buddhism, Chirstian and other religions.

Specialties: Bali is most famous for its modern and traditional batik and colorful weavings, wood carvings and paintings, as well
as silver jewelry, which are all very sophisticated and have distinctive national characteristics. When buying art, the first choice is
the handicraft workshops in Ubud and Mas. The wood carvings and various small handicrafts sold there are of high quality and
very cheap, but always remember to bargain.

Tipping: Indonesia is a tipping country, and tips are generally required for meals, accommodation, etc. However, there is no fixed
proportion of tip amount, and it ranges from thousands to tens of thousands of Indonesian rupiah depending on the work done
by the other party. It is recommended that you prepare extra small denominations of rupiah and US$1 as a tip.
