A. Reviewing Last time, you learned about vowels.

Now let’s write the upper and lower case of


letter m.

In writing an upper case of a letter, where


we are going to start, at the blue or at the
red line? Blue line teacher.

Very good.

In writing the upper case letter M, you are


going to draw a vertical line going down,
and then diagonal line going down again
and another diagonal line but this time
going up, and then draw again another
vertical line going down.

The lower case m also, starting at the red


line, you are going to write a vertical line
and make a curve line, and another curve
line.
B. Establishing Teacher will call children to go infront to
a purpose for encirle the two letters that starts with
the Lesson lower case m.

C. Presenting Look at what your classmates encircled,
examples/ they have encircled
instances of the
new lesson /ma/, /me/, /mi/, /mo/, /mu/

D. Discussing Let us read the first two letters that your


new concepts classmate encircled.

together, we can now read it as “ma”.

Next, If we are going to put /mm/ and


/eh/ together, we can now read it as “me”.

beginning letters /mm/ and /eh/ is an
example of blended consonant-vowel.

Next, If we are going to put /mm/ and /ii/


together, we can now read it as “mi”.

Very good. The two beginning letters of
milk are /mm/ and /ii/ and it is an
example of blended consonant-vowel.

Next, If we are going to put /mm/ and


/oh/ together, we can now read it as “mi”.

When do we usually see moon? At night teacher.

Very good. The two beginning letters of


moon are /mm/ and /o/ and it is an
example of blended consonant-vowel.

Last, If we are going to put /mm/ and


/uu/ together, we can now read it as “mu”.

E. Discussing After using English words in giving


new concepts examples of the consonant-vowel /ma/,
and practicing /me/, /mi/, /mo/, /mu/. Now, we will use
new skill #2 Filipino words in giving examples in
blending the consonant-vowels /ma/,
/me/, /mi/, /mo/, /mu/.

Let’s start with “ma”

Very good. This is a manok (showing the

This is an example of “ma”, the word starts


with consonant “m” and it its blended with
the vowel “a”.

Another is “me”.

This is a table and the tagalog word for


Mesa teacher.

Very good. mesa starts with consonant “m”


and it its blended with the vowel “e”.

Another, the “mi”.

What is this?
Very good this is a microphone, in tagalog
we say it as mikropono, it started with the
consonant “m” and blended with the vowel
“i”.

Another, the “mo”

What is this? Motor teacher


Very good. The word motor started with the
consonant “m” and blended with the vowel
“o”.

Last, the “mu”

What is this? ghost teacher


What is the tagalog word for ghost?
