Procedure for Off-Grid Commercial solar system:

1. Perform assessment and feasibility studies. These include energy audit of the commercial
building, available roof or ground space and sunlight levels in that area.

2. Determine energy goals and budget – these includes electrical loading, hours of use etc. Also,
the establishment of a budget for the solar system.

3. Perform design and system sizing of the solar system components as well as installation
methodology, safety practices etc.

4. Confirm any permitting and regulation approvals. This may not be required as it’s off-grid.

5. Determine any financing options as applicable.

6. Select a contractor for installation of the system.

7. Perform system installation, testing and commissioning.

8. Perform monitoring and maintenance of the system to ensure optimal operation is achieved as
per design.
