I. The Problem and its Background

II. Statement of the Problem

This mini-research will help the researcher with the 2nd Quarter Periodical

Test Results of Grade 10 Obedience Students at Libjo National High School

during the school year 2022-2023.

III. Significance of the study

The research can be able to identify those students who need help and

intervention on the subject. This will reveal if the students of Grade 10 Obedience

are struggling with mathematics or not.


IV. Methodology

A. Research Design

This is quantitative research. Documentary analysis and purposive

sampling were used in conducting this mini-research.

B. Respondents

Grade 10 Obedience Students at Libjo National High School of S.Y 2022-

2023.

C. Data Gathering

The data were taken from the teacher’s class record.

D. Statistical Treatment

Using Percentile Rank, we’re going to determine how many students got a

score below 35. Thus, we are going to get the Percentile Rank of 34 which is

between 31-34 class intervals.

V. Conclusion and Recommendation

Based on the results, Grade 10 Obedience students got a low score for the
2nd Quarter Periodical Test in Mathematics. Many students will be given an
intervention.

The Math Teacher of Grade 10 Obedience must prepare intervention


materials and/or enrichment activities for that __ of the class whose score is
below 34.
