Why Use CETEX Construction Chemicals?
Hydration of cement is a complex reaction, which is yet not fully understood. Moreover, there is
always demand to complete the projects as early as possible without compromising on the quality.

New chemicals are being used as additive or surface treatment to enhance the properties of the
end product.
According to generally accepted engineering standards, concrete are:-
Brittle and very weak in flexural and tensile strength.
Prone to early-age plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking
Prone to long-term cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction
Likely to explode (spall) when subjected to the extreme heat.
Weaker, when excess water is added to improve workability.
All of which can weaken the long-term integrity and performance of the concrete. As larger and
more complex projects are being undertaken, there is growing need for new products to improve
the quality and durability of the construction activity.

CETEX Micro Silica is 100 % Indian product. It is produced after processing special grade Rice
husk ash. This is shorted, pulverized, air classified and packed in specified packing for ease of
handling the material at site.
CETEX – ADMIXTURES - We manufacturer an array of admixtures which when added to concrete
or mortar helps to control setting and early hardening, workability, or provides additional cementing
properties. Thus the concrete can attain desired characteristics such as high compressive strength,
high workability, and high performance and durability requirement of the modern structures.
CETEX - HARDENERS & DENSIFIERS - Weakened floor surfaces are typically caused by adding
excess water to the concrete, poor finishing techniques and poor-quality cure. But removing or
replacing the concrete is not a favourable option as it is labour-intensive, and costly. A simpler and
less expensive option is to use a CETEX liquid chemical treatment to harden and densify the
concrete surface.
CETEX - CURING COMPOUNDS – We have wax and acrylic based concrete curing compounds
which can be diluted with water for usage. When properly applied on fresh concrete, they form a
membrane which reduces the moisture loss during the early hardening period. It does not allow the
inside moisture to come out of concrete, hence the process of curing occurs.
CETEX – SEALANTS - XETEX Industries has an array of concrete sealing products, acrylic
concrete sealers; water and solvent based sealers. These sealers penetrate the concrete by
means of capillary action and seal the top surface to prevent the penetration of air, dust or liquid
into the concrete. Hence they are effective in waterproofing processes by keeping moisture out (or
in) the components on which they are used.
