Assignment

What is RAM?
Random access memory is a form 0f electronic computer memory that can be red and
changed in any order typically used to store and change data and machine cade
→ DDR 1• Double data rate synchroneus
Dynamic Ram
class of memory integrated circuits used in computers. DDR SDRAM also radioactively
called DDR1 SDRAM.

→ DDR2. Double dada rate 2 DDR 2 RaM is an improved version of DDR memory that is
faster and more efficient like standard DDR memory , DDR memory DDR 2 memory can
send data and both the rising and falling edges of the processor clock cycles

→ DDR 3
double data rate 3 synchronous dynamic random access memory with a high bandwidth
interface and has been in use since 2007
* It is the higher-speed successor to DDR and DDR2 and predecessor to DDR4 SDRAM
chips

• DDR 4 synchronous dynamic random access memory with a high bandwidth interface

What is memory bus?

Is a type of computer bus usually in the form of set of wires or conductors which
connects electrical components and allow transfers of data and addresses from the
main memory to the CPU a the memory controller.
TYPES of memory bus
• External bus
• Data bus
• Address bus
• Control bus

WHAT IS HD , 4k , Resolutions.
• HD High-definition video (HD video) is video of higher resolution and quality
than standard-definition. While there is no standardized meaning for high-
definition, generally any video image with considerably more than 480 vertical scan
lines (North America) or 576 vertical lines (Europe) is considered high-definition

• 4k 4K resolution refers to a horizontal display resolution of approximately

4,000 pixels. Digital television and digital cinematography commonly use several
different 4K resolutions. In television and consumer media, 3840 × 2160 is the
dominant 4K standard, whereas the movie projection industry uses 4096 × 2160.

• Resolutions : The display resolution or display modes of a digital

television, computer monitor or display device is the number of distinct pixels in
each dimension that can be displayed.

What is the Difference between hdd and ssd (how it processes data)

• SSDs are smaller and faster than hard disk drives (HDDs). SSDs are noiseless
and allow PCs to be thinner and more lightweight. Hard disk drives (HDDs) are more
common in older devices. If you primarily use your PC for web browsing and light
work, you may not need as much storage space.

• An SSD copies data to a new block, then erases the old block. It then writes
new to the old block by changing its charges. An HDD moves the read/write head to
the nearest available location. It then writes data by changing the charge of bits
in that area.
