Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih
"Shallot and Garlic"
 Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih are sisters who are polar opposites of each other. Bawang
Merah is a lazy, greedy girl spoiled by their mother while Bawang Putih is obedient, diligent and
does all the chores without complaint.
 One laundry day in the river, Bawang Putih loses a scarf, which is picked up by an old woman. The
old woman says she will return the scarf if Bawang Putih cooks and cleans for her. Bawang Putih
does as she's told, gets the scarf back and the old woman as a gift tells her to bring home one of
her two pumpkins, a small or a large one.
 Bawang Putih chooses the smaller pumpkin. When she breaks open the pumpkin at home, she
discovers the fruit is filled with jewelry.
 Bawang Merah and their mother get jealous and want their own pumpkin filled with jewelry, so
they go to the river and deliberately lose their scarves. Then they visit the old woman’s house
and ask for a pumpkin. They bring home the big one (of course), but instead of jewelry, their
large pumpkin is filled with snakes.

Beetle
The beetle is so small sized invertebrate that is known to be incredibly versatile and I found in numerous
different shapes and sizes. Beetles are found in nearly every different habitat on Earth and are only
absent from the freezing polar regions.
The body of the beetle is divided into three sections all coated in the hard outer shell, which are the head
of the beetle , the thorax of the beetle and the abdomen of the beetle. Beetles also have antennae which
are used to understand the surroundings of the beetle and are made of about 10 different sections.
The beetle is an omnivorous and feeds on whatever it can find but generally plants and fungi and the
debris from both plants and animals. Some bigger species of beetle have been known to eat small birds
and even small species of mammal. Other species of beetle feed of the dust from wood and therefore
enjoy burrowing themselves into trees.
Due to their small sized and wide, diverse range, beetles are prey to numerous species of animal from
other insects to reptile, birds, fish and mammals. The exacts predators of beetle how ever are largely
dependent on the sized and species of the beetle and the area in which the beetle inhabits.
