EDUKASYONG PANTAHANAN AT PANGKABUHAYAN 3 UNITS (3 hours lecture)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course shall include pedagogical content, knowledge and skills and technology and livelihood education necessary in teaching and learning in the
elementary level. Selected topics in home economics, industrial arts, technology, and livelihood education shall form a major part of the course. Experiential
learning approach shall be the focus of this course.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

By the end of the semester, the student will be able to

1. Demonstrate and develop teaching strategies and techniques that are relevant in teaching ICT, home economics and industrial arts in elementary level.
2. Integrate technology in teaching and learning activities about home economics, ICT, and industrial arts.
3. Apply essential knowledge, skills and values in ICT, home economics and industrial arts that can help improve self and family life, considering
sustainable development.
4. Perform basic activities concerning
o Home economics such as taking care of oneself and doing household chores
o ICT such as typing, compiling technology-based documents, and troubleshooting.
o Industrial arts such as sketching, manufacturing, and activities related to electronics.
5. Value the essence of various activities in home economics, ICT, and industrial arts.
