Answer all questions

1) Use Reflect and Shift approach to determine following convolutions: [10] [CO04] [BTL3]
𝑛
a) (1⁄4) 𝑢[𝑛] ∗ 𝑢[𝑛 + 2]
b) 𝑒 −3𝑡 𝑢(𝑡) * 𝑢(𝑡 + 3)

2) a) Determine the overall impulse response of cascade connection of two continuous time LTI
systems with impulse responses ℎ1 (𝑡) and ℎ2 (𝑡). [5] [CO04] [BTL2]
b) Draw the interconnection of systems corresponding to the following impulse responses:
i) ℎ1 [𝑛]*{( ℎ2 [𝑛] ∗ ℎ4 [𝑛])+ ( ℎ3 [𝑛] ∗ ℎ5 [𝑛])}* ℎ6 [𝑛] [5] [CO04] [BTL2]
ii) [{ℎ1 (𝑡)}-{( ℎ2 (𝑡) + ℎ3 (𝑡))* ℎ4 (𝑡)}]* ℎ5 (𝑡)
