BRIGADA ESKWELA

Bayanihan is one of the core essences of the Filipino culture where the concept of the Brigada
Eskwela has rooted. Bayanihan or concerted solidarity is the Filipino Spirit of helping one
another as a community in achieving a certain task without expecting or asking for anything in
return.

Good morning students, parents, teachers, volunteers and all stakeholders. Welcome on today’s
Brigada Eskwela 2023 Kick-Off program for the school year 2023-2024 with the Theme
BAYANAIHAN PARA SA MATATAG NA PAARALAN. My name is Maria Ehdson V.
Tarangco and I will be your host for today.

The Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide school maintenance week where partnerships are formed
between the school and its stakeholders and other volunteers to prepare the school for the influx
of students when the school year begins.

San Rafael National High School is with the Department of Education in its commitment to
ensure that education must continue amidst the challenges and uncertainties of face – to – face
classes brought by this pandemic.
In preparation for the opening of classes, this year’s Brigada Eskwela Program has been
implemented from August 14- 18, 2023 with focus on collaboration and strengthening
partnership engagements that complement DepEd efforts to implement and to ensure the delivery
of quality basic education.

PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM, PRAYER, SRNHS HYMN


So, to formally start with our program, May I request everyone to please rise for the singing of
the Philippine National Anthem to be lead by

please do remain standing and take a moment of silence to remember that today, everyday what
we always have with us is the presence of a good and gracious god as we begin the prayer, to be
followed by the singing of San Rafael NHS Hymn,

WELCOME REMARKS
Brigada Eskwela champions the spirit of volunteerism in DepEd. It is not only DepEd’s program
but also that of education stakeholders. And to formally welcome you all, our dear parents,
teachers, volunteers, students and our dear stakeholders, and to further discuss the goal of this
Kick-off program, May I call in the Principal II of San Rafael National High School, Dr.
Domingo T. Dismaya II for the Welcome Remarks.

PRESENTATION OF VOLUNTEERS and STAKEHOLDERS

The theme for Brigada Eskwela, Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan is emphasize the
countries collective efforts in promoting collaboration for safe living and addressing social issues
and concerns in schools, at homes, and in the community. At this point, ladies and gentlemen.
May I call in Mrs. Regina S. Mejia for the presentation and of Volunteers and Stakeholders.

IMPLEMENTATION
For us to have the view of the implementation of the 2023 Brigada Eskwela, San Rafael National
High School provides this year’s Brigada Eskwela School Workplan of Daily Tasks of the
Brigada Eskwela Committee partners, school personnel, and volunteers. This is to provide
guidance to all involved individuals in ensuring safety and preparedness of everyone during the
Brigada Eskwela implementation. To guide us, ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome
our School Brigada Eskwela coordinator, Mr. Pepe D. Valencia II.

PLEDGE AND OATH OF COMMITMENT OF STAKEHOLDERS/ VOLUNTEERS


The Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide school maintenance week where partnerships are formed
between the school and its stakeholders and other volunteers to prepare the school and the
students when the school year begins. Our stakeholders and parents play a very vital role in the
school. They are responsible for the achievement of the learning outcomes through their active
participation in school activities, programs and projects. , may I call in our School Head Dr.
Domingo T. Dismaya II for the Pledge and Oath of Commitment of Stakeholders, and Volunteers

together with the BE coordinator and Faculty Staff of SRNHS.


CLOSING

The success of its implementation lies in the collaborative effort of teachers, school head, private
partners, local government units, the community members, including parents and students, and
the stakeholders.

Brigada Eskwela 2023 will not be a success without your help and support. We are in this
together. Let’s work together. And this has been your host, Maria Ehdson V. Tarangco, saying
