The document discusses a research paper on the negative effects of artificial intelligence on ICT students. It conducted a survey of 10 ICT students, where 4 out of 10 had knowledge of AI. One respondent said AI wastes time and prevents learning programming. The researchers found students have a narrow understanding of AI's negative effects. They recommend the school provide mass teaching on AI's impacts to help students develop critical thinking apart from reliance on AI.

ABSTRACT

The Negative Effect of Artificial Intelligence(AI) on the life of the Students of

Information Communication and Technology.
Artificial Intelligence is currently known for its feats to surpass the human mind's limits and
creativity. It is used by variety of computers and technology that revolve around us. Although it
has inhumane feats. It’s not always good as what we always think of when it comes to this type
of technology or the artificial intelligence (AI) itself. The purpose of this study is to learn the
negative effects of the artificial intelligence in the daily lives of the Technical-Vocational
Livelihood Information Communication Technology (TVL-ICT) Students. During the month of
June in 2023, 10 participants were selected for survey conducted by the researchers. On the
chosen 10 participants by simple random sampling, 4 out of 10 people has a knowledge about
the artificial intelligence and each said the same thing about the artificial intelligence, One of the
respondents said that it only takes your time and it’s only a waste for someone like us who’s
trying to learn programming but they’re trying to depend on the artificial intelligence itself.

The overall knowledge of some of the students of the Information Communication Technology
(ICT) about the negative effects of artificial intelligence is very narrow. The researchers
recommend to the facility itself to conduct a mass teaching about the negative effects of artificial
intelligence to our dear students in order for them to learn what are its effect to their future and
as well as their ability to be creative and possess critical thinking skills. Without the need to rely
on the artificial intelligence, our lives may improve greater and farther than we can imagine.
