SOP For 500kVA DG / Engine Fuel Pump Actuators & ECU Operating Conditions Checking / Failure Analysis
➢ Insert wire link (See red wire link) in to wiring ferrule no-28D & 28E, when DG / Engine not in operation
➢ Check actuator 1 voltage on terminals S & T (wiring ferrule no- 8A & ➢ Check actuator 2 voltage on terminals W & X (wiring ferrule no-
8B should be 12.91V (Voltage specifications 10V to 26V) 9A & 9B should be 10.54V (Voltage specifications 10V to 26V)
➢ If <10V check current limit setting, if current limit setting is ok, then ➢ If <10V check current limit setting, if current limit setting is ok,
remove the wires & check on ECU terminals S & T. If still not getting then remove the wires & check on ECU terminals W & X. If still

Remove wire link
➢ Remove wire link from wiring ferrule no- ➢ Check again battery supply on battery
28D & 28E before starting of DG terminals U & V (wiring ferrule no- 21 &
28I should be >24V) during cranking of DG
for to check fuse blown-off conditions
Connect Laptop
Check fuel pump actuators positions
➢ Click on Adjust actuator output - Check Master & Salve actuator position, both fuel pump actuators should be same readings approximately
Step 1
Step 2
Check both fuel pumps Actuators failures identifications v/s Ok identifications
Master pump actuator failure identification Salve pump actuator failure Both Master & Salve pump actuators Ok
identification identification
Position Error due to loose wiring errors, lose connectors & Actuator failures etc.
