Calibration 2

The document provides instructions for calibrating an instrument. It explains that a stable test should be conducted first to ensure the instrument is stable. Next, drift correction samples should be tested and calculations performed. Finally, a new model can be created and standard samples can be used to shape calibration curves for each component. The calibration process is then complete and samples can be measured.

Calibration

Preparation before calibration.

Stable test: before calibrating a new model, pls carry out a stable test to make
sure the instrument in a stable condition.

Click the icon Stable test, then in the following interface choose a way to
carry out the stable test.
Normally we choose Time way, and do not open sample lid.

When stable test finishes, you will get such a interface, when you select a
element, then in the bottom there will be a graph for this element, compare
the Theoretic Sigma value and Practical Sigma value,
In 8-12 hours, 1.5* Theoretic Sigma value ≥ Practical Sigma Value
In 24 hours, 2* Theoretic Sigma value ≥ Practical Sigma Value
Then we consider the instrument is stable.

Note: the first few hours graph may influence by the outside temperature and
so on factors, so you can double click the start point to cancel these values to
get a more good graph.

Then you can carry out he calibration of your models.

Calibration:
1. Record the drift correction sample information.

Press Ctrl button in the keyboard and drift correction shortcut at the
same time. Then you will get the following interface

Test the 3 drift correction sample one by one, then click Calculate then OK

Notice: only when you calibrate the first curve, you need to

record the drift correction samples CPS with this way.

When you calibrate other curves later, what you need to do is

just click drift correction shortcut, and do normal drift

calibration procedure.

2. Click icon New Model, you will get such a interface.

One of the setted model page.

3. In standard samples interface.

4. Click Calculation to shape a curveline for each component.
Sample measure

1. Click sample measure icon

2. Load the model, and put sample into the instrument and test them
