Os dias da semana são compostos por cinco dias que são chamados de "weekdays" e por mais dois
dias que formam o fim de semana ("weekend"). Nós começamos o primeiro dia da semana pelo
domingo, e assim por diante. Veja abaixo suas origens.

1º dia- SUNDAY- Sun day – DOMINGO- Dia do sol.


2º dia- MONDAY- Moon day – SEGUNDA FEIRA- Deusa da lua
3º dia- TUESDAY- Dia de Tyr – TERÇA FEIRA- Deusa da guerra
4º dia- WEDNESDAY- Dia de Woden / Odin – QUARTA FEIRA- Deus da guerra, da lei e da sabedoria.
5º dia- THURSDAY- Dia de Thor – QUINTA FEIRA- Deus da força e do trovão.
6º dia- FRIDAY- Dia de Friga – SEXTA FEIRA- A mãe terra, mulher de Odin.
7º dia - SATURDAY- Dia de Saturno – SÁBADO- Deus da agricultura.
