3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The purpose of method statement is to describe the sequence and methodology for Urinal
partition works of Godrej Fund Management Building at Indranagar, Bangalore.

4. SCOPE OF WORK

Supply, install and finishing finish the Urinal partition in accordance with specification as
shown on the drawings of Godrej Fund Management Building at Indranagar, Bangalore.

5. REFERENCE DOCUMENTS

 Project specifications / BOQ


 Approved Shop Drawings
 Material Approval Request (MAR).
 Technical data sheet & certificates / reports of materials.
 BOQ NO: H/9.2, in ID BOQ, 4.1,4.4 in BOH

6. MATERIALS

 12mm tk frosted toughened glass

7. DELIVERY STORAGE & HANDLING

 Stack all the Toughened Glass on a dry & covered place, sheltered from rain.
 The maximum number of Glass that can be stacked is 20.
 Materials received at site shall be checked for the following defects prior to its
acceptance:
a. Tile of same type but distinctly different colour or texture to be rejected
immediately.
b. Tile should be free from holes seams, shakes, pockets, stains and other unwanted
effects.
c. Thickness tolerance should be between +/-2mm.

9. URINAL PARTITION WORK METHODOLOGY


 12mm tk Frosted toughened glass will be used for Urinal partition with size of
450mmx800mm. with necessary supporting system as per approved shop drawing.

10. STAGES OF WORK INSPECTIONS AND MATERIAL DELIVERED TO SITE


INSPECTION:

 Incoming Materials Inspection Request (IMIR) will be raised to inspect once the
materials to site are delivered.
 Work inspection request (WIR) will be raised prior to proceeding for Urinal partition
works.
 Work inspection request (WIR) will be raised after completion of Urinal partition
works.

11. SAFETY HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT

All work and individual safety precautions will be taken by SIPL as per SIPL & Project Site
Safety Policy and procedure
