Serial Number Overview

This page shows the Serial Number information. We can add, update, and search Serial Number from this page.
And we also get all center information about this module, such as how many items of Open NCR, Past Due NCR
and how many cost in QA. Serial Number is used for tracking the Part. We can get where this Part comes from,
which WO made this Part and who buy this Part.

Add Serial Number

Expend Quality Box, click Serial# branch; we can see the button for adding serial number in the right panel.

Click it directly and will go another page following:

Below table will introduce all properties.

Property Explanation

Serial # This is a required filed, it is used for identify Serial

number, you can input any letters, but usually input
order number + order item number.

PO090001001

Part # This is a required filed. Input Part number that you

want to track.

Part Type It is work with Part Number.

Part From Which place does this part come from, Inventory or
Tool Room?

Revision # Revision number of Part.

Date Create Serial date, default is current day, you can

change to any day.

WO # This Part made in which Work Order.

Item # This works with WO Number.

Ref # Reference number. You can input any number.

Certificate Description It is "SERIAL NUMBER" and can't edit. This is used for
identifier it is a Serial Number.

Comments Input any comments about this Serial Number.

After you make sure all the properties are ok, you can click "2Add" Button go to Update Serial Number.

Update Serial Number

This is update serial number page, it comes from the following ways.

• After adding new serial number, then click "2Add" button, 2BizBox will link to here.
• On serial number list, selected one row and click "2Update"button, 2Bizbox will link to here.

Why we have serial item?
One serial has many items, each item is a serial number or certification number, so the product has a serial
number (certification) number and many sub serial number(or certification number).Such as one computer has
a serial Number, the keyboard or mouse of this computer also has serial Number.
At this page we have more actions to do.

Input "Serial # or Certification #" and click button, if the number doesn't exist in 2BizBox, 2Bizbox will

appear below screen.

Click "yes" button, 2BizBox will automatically create a new serial number and add it to item list.

Selected a row and click button, 2BizBox will delete it.

Serial Number Detail

This page is Serial Number detail page, it comes from Serial Number list page. Clicking Serial Number link in list
page will go to the following page.

On this page we can do more actions.

• Click "2Update" button, 2BizBox will link to Update Serial Number.

• Click "2Add" button, 2Bizbox will link to Add Serial Number
• Click "2Copy" button, 2Bizbox will copy all information of the serial number to new serial number, and the
following screen will appear. You need to input the new serial Number here.

Serial Number General Information

The page is general information of serial number, it shows useful information of serial number and relate part
information.

Below table gives detail explanation for every property.

Property Explanation

Serial # Serial number is used for identify Serial number

Control # Serial sequence number. It is increased automatically.

Company Company name, it generates automatically.

WO # This Part made in which Work Order.

Date Add a new serial number input date, default is create

day.

Part # Part number that you want to track.

Revision Revision of part.

Part Description Part description

Comments Any comments about this Serial Number.

This page is serial number items page, the items is sub serial number or sub certification. Such as computer has
a serial number, but the keyboard or mouse also has a serial number

Item # Item number, 3 digit number is required.

Number Serial number.

Certificate control # Certificate control number, is sequence number.

Certificate Description "Certificate" or "Serial number"

Certificate Overview

Certificate is also for Part. One Part maybe has many Certificates, such as thermal treatment report, strength
report or other reports. It can be as serial Number item.
From this module, we can add, update, delete and search Certificate.

Add Certificate

Expand the Quality Box and click "Certificate" item, the red square in below screen is add new Certificate
button. The certification is for Part/Tool. When you purchase some material has certification or make some
products have certification. So the certificate is necessary, you can add it here.

Click "2Add Certificate" button, below screen will appear.

Property Explanation

Certificate # Certification number, the number text field can input

any letters. It is unique identify the Certificate.

Part # Part number that you want to add certificate for.

Part Type It works with Part Number.

Part From Part From, you can choose Tool room or inventory.

Part revision Part revision.

Ref # Refer number. You can input any Number related

with this Part.

Comments Input any this about this certificate about the

certificate.

This is update certificate page, it comes from many ways.

• After adding new certificate completed, then click "2Add" button, 2BizBox will link to here.
• On Certificate Detail page, click "2Update" button, also link to here.
• On Certificate list page, selected a row and click "2Update" button, 2BizBox also link here.

On this page, we have more action to do.

You can select description of certificate or click button to add new description of certificate. About add
description of certificate operation, please refer to Add Certificate Description.

Certificate Detail

This page is certification detail page; on this page it shows all information about this Certificate.

Click the button on right of Revision, 2BizBox will link to NCR list of the Part.

Below table is every property explanation.

Property Explanation

Certificate # Certification number. It is unique identify the

Certificate.

Control # Control Number, it is increased automatically.

Company Company name.

WO # Relation with Work Order number and Work Order

item number if this Certificate has WO.

Date It comes from Add Certificate page. The default value

is create Certificate date.

Part # Part number.

Revision Revision of the Part.

Part Description Part description.

Doc name The name is certificate # add file extend name. Such
as this Certificate Number is 'ISO090008' and the
extension of upload file is 'png', so the Doc name is
'ISO090008'.png'.

NCR Overview

When we purchase some material or make some Parts complete, that means the materials or Parts was received
to warehouse, the quality control person has checked quality of goods, and the QC person can use the module
function.

Expand the quality box and click NCR item, below screen will appear.

Click "2Add NCR" button, below screen will appear.

The screen let you choose a Part to check quality, input a Part and click "2Add" button, 2Bizbox will link to
Update NCR.

Update NCR

The screen is updating NC, it comes from many ways.

• After Add NCR, 2BizBox will automatically link to here.

• At NCR Detail page, click "2Update" button, 2BizBox will link to here.
• At NCR List page, selected a row and click "2Update" button, 2BizBox also link to here.

Example
We pulled 10 units to check quality, the result is that we have 2 units is good, so we put it to
stock, others goods are bad, we have 4 types to hand then:

1. Rework has 2 units

2. Waiver has 3 units
3. Regrade has 1 unit
4. The remaining is 2 units will scrap it.

In normal, we can close NCR as following work flow.

QA approval->Engineer approval->Mfg approval-> leader approval to close NCR.
At this page in addition you can edit these text fields. You have 3 special actions to do.

• Add NC Code for NCR

• Pulled Qty
• Put to Stock Qty

Add NC Code for NCR

Below screen is a Part of update NCR.

On this screen, we have added a new NC code to NCR.

• The "number of Nonconformance Parts" means the amount parts are bad with the NC code.
• Selected a NC Code and click "Delete" button, 2BizBox will delete the NC code.
• Click "2Add" button, below screen will appear.

Pulled Qty

The page is pull some parts from inventory or issued material of Work Order.

Click "Pulled Qty" side's button, below screen will appear.

The area that Pull from warehouse shows all locations of part.
The area that Pull from issued material shows all opening and issued Work Order of part.
At this page we can pick some Parts from warehouse and some Parts from issued work order.

we pick 2 units from location name is "2" of warehouse, and we pick 2 units from work order
number is "W090145" of issued work order. Then Pulled Qty of this NCR is 3 Qty.

Put to Stock Qty

If the Part that Pulled from Warehouse or Work Order is OK, we have to put it to stock.

Click button, put to stock screen will appear.

We can pick up the good Part from In QA items from this screen.

Property Explanation

NCR # NCR number, it generator by 2BizBox automatically,

and unquied identify the NCR.

Responsibility Responsibility person.

NCR status The status has two value, "OPEN" and "CLOSE".

NCR Date The date when create NCR.

NCR due date The date is The NCR has be close at the date.

Vendor The vendor is the part supplier.

Entered by create the NCR person.

The page is part of NCR detail, NCR important information.

Property Explanation

Inspected Qty Want to Inspected quantity.

Part Serial # Serial number of part, such as "W090001.001".

Problem description The problem description is discover non-

conformance of part person broach question at first
time.

NC code/Number of nonconformance parts The NC code of non-conformance parts amount.

Pulled Qty pull quantity form warehouse or work order.

Pulled Date The date is pull from warehouse or work order at

that date.

Put to stock Qty The quantity is good parts, it has put it to stock.

put Date The date is put to stock date (last time).

Qty Rework Bad parts handle type is Rework, the quantity is

rework quantity.

Qty Scrap The quantity is scrap quantity of bad parts.

Qty Waiver The quantity is waiver quantity of bad parts.

Qty Regrade The quantity is Re grade quantity of bad parts.

Approval QA The person is NCR approver with QA department.

Search Part InQA without NCR

The function is used to search Part in QA without NCR, it is a useful function for QA person, normal Parts In
QA must check by QA person, it has 2 types of check result, one of bad Parts must make NCR to handle, and
another of good Parts must put it to stock. So the function is search out lost Parts need to check by QA person.

Click "2Search Part in QA without NCR" button, below screen will appear.

Property Explanation

Date type

It has 3 type dates. As these .

NCR Date is create NCR date.
DUE date is deadline of NCR handle.
CLOSE date is close NCR date.

Date from The date is begin date of selected date type period.

To The date is end date of selected date type period.

Status It has 2 types of NCR status, "OPEN" and "CLOSE"

Search NCR's to Create Scrap GL

The function is used to search not create GL of NCR that NCR must has scrape qty.

Click "2Search NCRs to Create Scrap GL" button, below screen will appear.

• Click "Make GL" link, it will create a gl using "Qty need to Scrap", and it will give a following dialog

You can change the quantity to scrap, click "OK" button, it

will generate a new GL.

The function is used to search all open NCR's to close via many conditions, same as Search Open NCR

It has 3 type dates. As these .

NCR Date is create NCR date.
DUE date is deadline of NCR handle.
CLOSE date is close NCR date.

Date from The date is begin date of selected date type period.

To The date is end date of selected date type period.

pulled > 0 and put > 0 The qty that pull from warehouse or Work Order
is than more zero and the qty that put back to
warehouse is also than more zero.

Pulled=put only If check this box, it will only search out all open NCR
that pulled Qty equals put Qty.

some leader, at last close out by manager.

NC Code Overview

NC Code can be used to manage all problem categories. Just like if a part returns back to us from customer,
then it needs to add a NCR for this part. We can get what kind of problem of this part after check, then it will
specific how many NC Codes of this part in NCR. NC Code can be assembled used in the NCR. For example
"S32" is stand for "Subcontractor" + "Cracks". Then "S32" can be added to NCR.

The "General" tab of NC Code gives mainly business about NC Code, just like add, update, and delete NC Code.

Update NC Code

There are following ways to go to the screen.

• Click "2Add" button on Add NC Code screen.

• Click "2Update" button on NC Code Detail screen.
• Select one row, then click "2Update" button on the top of NC Code list scree n.

Code It is added in the Add NC code page, code is a

unique identifier for the NC code.

Origin The person who creates this NC Code.

Last Change Date The date when last change this NC Code.

Last Change User The user who last change this NC Code.

NC Code Language Description

One NC Code can own two language descriptions: Chinese and English. It can be added, Edit, Deleted.

Add NC Code Language Description

Click button in the middle panel on "Update NC Code" screen, then it pop up a dialog as below.

It can choose another language description to add from this panel. Click "OK" button, the language description
is added to the NC Code and it back to "Update NC Code" screen.

Edit NC Code Language Description

Select one row, then click button; the following page will pop up.

The description can be changed and language can't be re-selected on this page.

Delete NC Code Language Description

Select one row, then click , the system will delete this Language Description from the NC Code. Or

click button, the system will delete all Language Description from this NC Code.

Click button after change all parameters of "Update NC Code" page, it will go to NC Code Detail
screen.

If you want to search All NC Codes reject rate of Mar. 09. The parameters can be set like this:

• NCR Code: keep empty.

• Date From: 2009-03-19.
• TO: 2009-03-31.

Customer Vendor QA Overview

This is Customer/Vendor Address Book under "Quality Box"; the most functions are the same as Customer/
Vendor under "Address Book Box". To see detail explanation about this, please go to Customer/Vendor under
"Address Book Box".

What's difference of between customer under "Quality Box" and customer under "Address Book Box"?

There is more strong permission about customer under "Quality Box".

1. These three properties: "Vendor Quality Status", "Critical Level" and "Vendor Category" on update
customer screen in "Address Book Box" can't be edited. But these can be edited in "Quality Box".
2. It has permission to upload, delete, and update quality document in "Quality" tab of Customer Detail
screen in "Quality Box". But customer under "Address Book Box" has no permission.
