Coursera – Employee Access Guide

This document contains step-by-step instructions on accessing Coursera for Reliance program for employees.
To address issues and queries, it also covers frequently asked questions.

About Coursera for Reliance Program
Coursera for Reliance Program brings in following enhanced experience for employees:

▪ Unlimited access to all Coursera for Business certifications from over 170 prestigious
universities such as Carnegie-Mellon University, Yale University, University of Michigan, and
Johns Hopkins University, as well as organisations such as Meta, Google, SAP and
Microsoft.

▪ Access to specialisations (bundled course collections that lead to advanced certificates) and
guided projects (product demos that you can follow along with a virtual instructor for an
immersive and interactive experience.)

▪ Guided learning paths via Skillsets which define the skills required for specific levels by job
roles, help you understand the skills required at the next level, as well as the related courses
to help you fulfil skill gaps.

▪ Access to Coursera Clips, 200K+ videos and lessons of 5–10 minutes for in-the-moment
learning.

How to access Coursera for Reliance
To access Coursera for Reliance program, employees need to ensure:
1. that they have a Coursera user account
2. that they have joined/activated the Coursera For Reliance program

1. How do I access Coursera ?
There are multiple ways to access Coursera:

2. I already have a personal account on Coursera, can I still take advantage of the Reliance program available to me?
Yes! When you create your Coursera account you will be prompted to fill in your existing account information to link the accounts.
3. How long will each course take?
The time varies by each course and details are listed in the course information page. Generally, courses can take between 1-6 weeks to complete.
4. Can I complete the courses at my own pace?
Yes - Coursera offers on-demand learning. Most Coursera courses have personalized deadlines that begin when you enroll in a course. There is no grade penalty for a missed deadline, so
you can work at your own pace if you can't or don't want to meet the suggested deadlines. Some courses have Sessions, which means everyone has the same deadlines to help
ensure there are enough peer review assignments for you to review and have reviewed. You'll need to switch sessions in order to change your deadlines if you fall behind.
5. Can I enroll in multiple courses?
Yes, you can enroll in as many as you like.
6. How can I earn a Course Certificate?
To earn a Course Certificate, you need to pass all assessments included in the course. If the course includes Peer Review assignments, you will need to review other assignments as well
as have your own assignments reviewed & passed.
7. Can I enroll into a Professional Degree Program OR Master Track Certificate of my interest?
Professional Degree Program OR Master Track Certificate are not included in the Coursera Reliance Partnership.
8. What are Guided Projects?
Guided Projects on Coursera are interactive projects that enable learners to gain a job-relevant skill in under two hours. A side-by-side interface allows learners to watch visual instructions on

9. What are Skillsets?
Skillsets are turnkey, job-based learning programs that develop target skill proficiencies with world-class courses and hands-on Guided Projects. Steps to access Skillsets.
10. What are Clips?
Clips are bite-sized content that enables learners to learn what they need in the moment, while25paving the way for deeper learning and skill development down the line. Steps to access Clips.

1. Coursera platform is asking me for payments
Make sure you first join the Coursera for Reliance program first for availing free unlimited certifications and courses. There are multiple ways:

2. Coursera is asking me to link my personal account
If you’ve a Coursera account with a personal email, you can link it with your Reliance account to maintain a single learning history. You can choose to link your account
after you login and by entering your login credentials.
3. I don’t want to link my personal account with my Reliance account.
Logout from your personal account in the browser before logging through Reliance SSO. When prompted, choose “I’m a new Coursera user” option.
4. I want to link my personal account but don’t remember my password.
Reset your password by going to Coursera.org and then follow the process to link your accounts.
5. I’m getting an error message that my account can’t be linked
You’ve linked your personal account and in the past your personal account was part of another organization’s Coursera program. Reach out to Coursera learner support
team and they’ll be able to resolve this issue for you.
6. I’m not receiving any emails from Coursera
When you link your personal email to this account, you must verify your email address. If you’re not able to verify then reach out to Coursera learner support team and
they’ll be able to resolve this issue for you
7. How can I get more help from Coursera?
