Most software-based green cloud solutions model the network, processor, storage
devices, and user tasks as a graph and tree-based structures. Cloud services’
resultant optimization model typically emphasizes task duration and cost
minimization when deciding which task should be assigned to which resource.
➢ Why is Green Computing Important?
▪ Energy Savings
▪ There are some different kinds of electrical appliances, including computers,
that use a lot of energy. As a result, there is a demand for energy
production. Therefore, to create a more eco-friendly environment, it is
necessary to reduce this energy crisis as much as possible. Green computing
ensures that IT processes consume extremely little energy. As a result, this has
the potential to save a lot of power over time.
▪ Cost Savings
▪ Green computing helps people save
money because it is very affordable. Utilizing a
green computing strategy results in substantial
financial gains and saves energy. Despite the high
initial costs, green computing is still cost-effective
in the long run.
•Recycling
•Less Pollution
One of the most common green computing practices. This program uses
the sun’s energy and produces solar power for home and business use.
California, Spain, and Canada are the first to implement this technology.
This is a significant milestone for green technology. Photovoltaic solar
panels are the most fantastic example of green computing because they
easily convert electricity into electrical energy.
.Wind Turbine Programm:
Another excellent example of what green computing is. It is the Wind Turbine
system that enables anyone to generate electricity. After embedding, there are
no adverse environmental effects. On the contrary, it reduces emissions of carbon
dioxide. But installing a wind turbine costs a lot of money, so it’s only possible for
some.
